It was four in the morning when Nol came back to Holmes. Medyo madilim pa nang makarating siya roon kasama si Inspector Inugami. Kasama rin nila ang mga comrades ni Inspector.

Agad silang dumeretso sa office ni Sir Martin. Nol opened the door. Nadatnan niya roon si Sir Martin na may kausap sa telepono.

Sir Martin gestured him to wait. Nol closed the door. “Nasaan sina Henry?” tanong ni Inspector Inugami kay Nol.

“I donʼt know,”

Ilang minuto ang nakalipas, lumabas si Sir Martin. He greeted everyone before turning to Nol. “Winston and the others are inside the arena. We are already done planning how to save Keena.” sabi nito.

They went to the arena. Nandoon pa rin ang mga agents.

“I called the agencies in our city so they can help us. V mafia is a dangerous organization that we will be dealing with.” ani Sir Martin.

“Nol!” napalingon sila kay Henry, Winston, at Agnes.

“Saan ka nagpunta?” tanong ni Henry nang makalapit.

“I already know whoʼs the mafia boss of Valerian Mafia.” sagot ni Nol at tumingin sa labas ng arena.

“Valerian Mafia?” Agnes asked.

Nol nodded. “Baka naman gusto mong sabihin samin kung sino?” sabi ni Sir Martin.

Ngumisi si Nol. “Let me hear the plan first.”

“Wake up, sleeping beauty!” Keena woke up after she felt the cold water dripping on her. Narinig niya ang pagtilapon ng timba sa kung saang bahagi ng kwarto.

“Hoy!” iniangat ng babae ang ulo ni Keena. She smirked.

Keena glared at her. Dumudugo ang gilid ng labi niya, her right cheekbone is bruised too.

“Hanggang ngayon ba, hindi ka pa rin makapaniwala?” tanong ng babae sa kanya.

Ngumisi si Keena sa kanya. “Yvah, sa totoo lang, hindi na ako nagulat nang malaman kong isa ka sa mafia na 'to.”

“Oh, good. Ako nga, hindi rin nagulat nang malamang anak ka pala ng mamamatay tao.” Yvah smiled sweetly.

Keena gritted her teeth. “My dad will never kill anyone!”

Yvah laughed. “But he just did! He killed my mom and my sister!” napalitan ng galit ang kaninaʼy mapaglarong mata niya.

Sheʼs mad. Fuming mad. She wanted to lay hands on Keena because of her anger but she restrained herself from doing it.

Keena canʼt even believe that his father really killed Valence and Vienas. Hindi nga rin siya makapaniwalang ina at kapatid niya ang mga 'yon.

“Maybe because your mom and your sister did something wrong to my—”

“How dare you! They will never do something wrong to someone whom they barely know! Alam mo ba, Keena? Hindi naman talaga ako dapat kasali rito e. I want to become a detective because thatʼs what I love and thatʼs what my mom wants me to do. My mom is a very kind person. Even though Vienas and I often fight, I know sheʼs kind just like our mom.”

Napalunok si Keena habang nakatingin kay Yvah. She looked at her eyes. There was a mixture of anger, misery, and sorrow.

“Okay, let me tell you a story.” Yvah smiled.
