Third person POV
I woke up at 5am since it is a school day. I'm in the last year of high school. I got up from my bed and went to go brush my teeth. I did my business in the bathroom and went back into my room to get changed for school. First last day of high school. During the summer I had a "glow up" like some people would like to call it. My best friend Yoongi hasn't seen all summer since he spends his summers in Korea with his family.
"Y/n are you ready!" I heard yoongi at my first door nocking
I got my backpack and opened the door to the house.
He scanned me up and down.
"Is that even y/n?" He said looking in my eyes
"Don't be ridiculous! Of course it's me yoongi!" Y/n said hitting his arm
They walked to school as always. He wasn't saying anything. He was always been quite, but I've been his best friend since he moved to America 5 years ago, so I know when he's acting weird.
"What's wrong meow meow" y/n said looking at him
"I just- it's nothing" he said looking away
Y/n scrunched her nose and eyebrows
"Come on now, I know when something is bothering you!" Y/n said
"Fine- it's just you don't look nothing like the old y/n. You used to wear glasses and wore your hair in a ponytail, wore sweatpants and a big tee shirt all the time and now you don't have glasses and you are wearing cloths that you never ever wore before and your hair is all nice, and you got-"
"Boobs and a butt?" Y/n said cutting off yoongi
"Ya" he said looking at you
"Well, that's what happens meow meow! I'm a woman now. I'm not the same little y/n" she smiled at him "plus you don't the same either, you got way taller and got earrings" y/n said looking away
"Ya I guess, sorry it's -"
"It's okay, now lets see who can run faster" y/n said running to beat him to school. He smiled. He thought her personality changed too, but he was wrong. She was still the same y/n he knew.
"DANG IT! No fair you have longer legs" y/n said out of breath.
They walked in the school and everyone was staring at them. Even the popular guy Hoseok and his little group.
"Is it just me or are they staring at us" y/n whispered to yoongi
"Definitely staring" yoongi said
They walked pasted Hoseok's little group. Hoseok was smirking at y/n, but Hoseok was a bully, he would always say the meanest things to y/n and yoongi.
Y/n felt so awkward. She went to her locker and then went to her first class. Thank God yoongi had the same class. They sat next to each other. Then Hoseok entered the classroom and sat next to y/n looking at her up and down. Yoongi & y/n can feel his eyes on y/n. She felt so awkward. She wanted to get out of there.
"Y/n definitely grew up this summer" Hoseok whispered in y/n ear which sent shivers down her spin. Y/n had a crush on Hoseok but he's never seen her only to be mean to her but now he's actually seeing her as a person.
Y/n felt even more awkward and looked down at her shirt that was showing a lot of cleavage so she pulled up her shirt even more.
The class started.
Lunch
It was lunch time and yoongi & y/n went outside and sat on the grass like always.
"Did you see how that jerk Hoseok was looking at you" yoongi took a bite of his food
"Ya I felt so awkward, I can see him looking down my shirt" she said eating as well
"Gross, like he would ever have a chance with you" he said drinking water
"Maybe he would" y/n said making yoongi spitting out his water
"What?! Have you forgotten what he's done to us?" Yoongi said angry now
"No I haven't but there is always second chances"
Yoongi POV
Okay I know what your thinking. That I have a crush on my best friend y/n, and no I don't- well yes? I don't know it's hard! When I moved over here 5 years ago. I couldn't speak good English since I'm from Korea, no one would talk to me. I was the weirdo, but I saw Hoseok and I went up to him since he was Korean too.
Flashback
"Get out of here loser. No one likes you" Hoseok said
"Don't say that! That's mean Hoseok"
Hoseok pushed both y/n and yoongi
"You too y/n your ugly and no one will ever love you"

Ever since that day y/n has always been by my side. I did have a crush on her in 9th grade when she got more girlier, I had to push those feelings out though. She would never like me like that. I was just her best friend nothing more.
Y/n POV
Yes I did like my friend yoongi ever since 7th grade. He would never feel the same for me.
Yoongi & I went back to our classes.
School was over and I see yoongi was a girl talking outside the school. He was smiling and so was she. Ugh I knew this was going to happen. He had a glow up. He dresses way better and had earrings and his face got manly.
The girl was touching all up on him. He lifted his shirt and he has six packs. The girl smiles and touches it. My head was going to explode. The guy I liked for 5 years is talking to a other girl that's not me. I couldn't take it so I walked home alone.
I was looking down and just walking straight ahead.
I shouldn't be sad he would never like me. He sees me as his sister.
