"Mis Avery you have some paper on information about your new client would you like me to bring it up to you?" My assistant asked over the phone.
"Yes please that would be great" I replied hanging up after minutes later I Hurd a nick in the door "come in" the door opened and my assistant gave me the paper I thanked her and she smiled leaving the room.
I read through the paper for a bit.
Name; Joseph Mathew Birlem
Age; 23
Addiction; drugs and alcohol
Main abuse; weed, cokecain
I let out a sigh calling my assistant "hello I was wondering if I had a appointment with Joseph Birlem today" I said looking at the paper still "yes, you have one at 1pm today, 3pm on Wednesday and a 11am on Friday"
"Okay thank you" I then hung up looking at the clock it 1 o'clock in 15 minutes I was just writing in my book till then, soon there was a nock at the door.
"Come in" I yelled, two people came in a woman and a man both in their yearly twenties they both sat down.
The woman started talking "hello my name is Bella Birlem and this is my brother Joey I booked an appointment in for him about his addition and I was hoping you could try and help him" she had hope I her eyes.
I gave her reassurance that I will do the best I can she gave me a smile then turned to her brother and spoke to him "behave" she said in a Stern voice soon leaving.
It was quite for a minute as we both looked at each other he was wearing a black shirt, gray sweats and black vans he also had tattoos on his arms.
"So Joey tell me what got you into addiction" I asked in a calm vice he stared at me "which one" he spoke I was confused "what" he let out a sigh "witch addiction drugs or alcohol".
"Surprise me" I said back he moved in the chair before speaking "I've been drinking since I was ten and been getting high since I was twelve" he paused for a minute before speaking.
"It started out just as weed only for fun but as I got into high school and university the stress got to me so I dropped out of university and moved in with my older sister I started going to parties" He moved around in his chair again getting comfortable.
"That was when I was 18 And also the first time I did coke, at first it was only one line then two then three soon for now five".
Holy shit.
I sat up in my chair before speaking "I don't think it wasn't only from stress do you mind telling me a little bit about your home life as a child".
He let out a low non humerus laugh "my mum left me and my siblings after my youngest brother was born and my dad is just a dickhead that's never sober" he lent his head back before letting out a sigh.
"Ya know I kinda hope you will help me" he chuckled "I can only help you if your willing to help yourself" I spoke.
