"It feels amazing out here," Alisha spoke happily as we walked down the sidewalk leading up to the venue. It was a beautiful Saturday morning, the weather was the nicest it's been in a minute and we definitely took advantage of that with our short sleeve tops and our exposed legs. DC's weather wasn't really bipolar, we knew exactly what to expect. In the winter time it was freezing, and every other season after that had weather we could deal with it. "It feel even better if I️ wasn't so damn hungry," Nia grumbled, crossing her arms against her chest. Adele groaned from in front of the group where she walked holding LJ's hand. "I️ told you we're going to eat as soon as we finish checking out the venue. There is no reason why you should be whining more than the actual child in the group," Adele snapped. Nia looked taken back by her response and I️ gave her a look that told her to just drop it. It hasn't been an easy morning for Adele. LJ and Leo had woken up the entire house at around eight o'clock in the morning by deciding to start there day playing video games—in the living room of all places.

Last night had been a long night of entertainment; Adele had cooked and invited some people over and we had stayed up conversing and chatting until almost three in the morning. So of course you can imagine her aggravation when she had to deal with discipline both LJ and Leo this early morning.

On top of that, she had been on and off the phone today with various different professional people as Leo had managed to get himself in trouble by leaving the gym with some "mysterious woman" a couple days ago. The blogs, MediaTakeout in particular, were having a field day with this one, trying to make it seem as if Leo was cheating right before the wedding when in reality that "mysterious woman" was a stranger who just so happened to be leaving at the same time as him. As Leo's wife and his PR, it wasn't surprising that Adele was busy trying to clean up his mess. She wasn't necessarily angry at him, it was a situation they couldn't prevent, but I️ knew she really just wanted to sit back and focus on her wedding for the next upcoming weeks.

I️ was eavesdropping a bit, only on accident, and Leo had been practically begging her to use her vacation weeks but Adele was skeptical on that. To be honest, I️ think working was her way of not overthinking and stressing over the wedding.

We walked down the sidewalk a bit more before we saw the venue. The venue was absolutely gorgeous—dramatic—but that was expected for Adele. It was this secluded mansion that surprisingly was right in the heart of DC. There was this beautiful extensive backyard where the actually exchanging of the vows was going to take place. There wasn't too much work that needed to be done outside. The majority of the extensive construction was being done on the inside. Adele wanted this huge canopy, and some construction workers were working on it as we speak. Their wedding planner, Cecilia, would be meeting us at the backyard just to see if anything else needed to be done. Being that the wedding was only a month a way, we were all hoping that Adele didn't add anything extravagant for these people to do.

"Adele!" Cecilia exclaimed excitedly. She was dressed professional much like she was every other time I️ had met her. She was a nice older lady, probably about forty five but she didn't look a day over thirty. She was Spanish, or something like that, and I️ was only guessing that based off of the thick accent she spoke with.
