Nina's POV:

This morning was bright, with the sun gleaming in through the parted curtains, kissing our faces. Jonah slept on the right while I slept on the left, Bella occupied the space in between us.

Bella was fast asleep in her bassinet, halfway through the night though, she started tossing around and crying. We put her in the middle and she fell right back asleep. We've only had her for a short time and I'm already in love.

I wanted a moment to myself, no baby and no Jonah, so I slid out of bed. With a blanket wrapped around me, I shuffled downstairs. The house was quiet, it is only 8 in the morning after all. When I got to the kitchen, Lindsey was sitting at one of the bar stools, doing what looked like homework. She gave me a sweet smile then continued on the paper. I grabbed a bowl, cereal, and milk then made myself a bowl of cereal and put everything back. I took the stool infront of Lindsey, and sat down.

Me: What're you working on, if you don't mind me asking?

Lindsey: I'm still going through college to be a full-time, stay at home nurse. I don't see what English has to do with it though.

Me: You're in college? I figured with what happened with um- Jake, he wouldn't allow you to do anything.

Lindsey: He forced me to take medical classes.

Me: Oh, I really am truly sorry for everything he put you through, you didn't deserve any of that.

Lindsey: Niether did you Nina.

I gave her a sympathetic smile then started eating my food. I reached across the bar, grabbed my notebook and pencil. The wedding isn't going to plan itself so I began writing everything we'd need, down on the paper. Jo and I decided we both wanted an outside wedding near the palm trees. Fairy lights, tables and chairs, fake moss over the tables, wooden dancefloor, I continued writing this all down for the reception. The aisle would just be a simple aisle with chairs, the arch, and some flowers and tulle. I finished my cereal and wedding planning for now.

I washed the bowl along with the few dirty dishes collecting in the sink then went on to pick up the rest of the house. It wasn't that bad except for the things Jonah broke, I'm guessing when I was gone.

I finished picking the house up, and just decided to crash on the couch to watch some tv.

I put The Flash on and caught myself up.

I guess I had fallen asleep because when I opened my eyes, Jonah was standing there with a smile while holding Bella.

Jonah: Hey baby, it's 6, did you come down here and go back to sleep?

Me: I'm so sorry Jo. She's only a little over a month old and she's already taking a big toll on me. I came down here and ate and then picked up. I put the tv on and I guess I fell asleep, I'm sorry.

Jonah: Baby why are you sorry for being a good mom? Falling asleep means you're doing your job to make sure Bella is okay by giving her all your attention. Don't be sorry for taking a nap okay?

Me:Okay, I just feel bad.

Jonah: There's no need to love.
