Looks like I'm back to Dreamland. I think this dream is going to be so peaceful.

"Alaura!" a familiar voice called out.

I stared into the endless field filled with lush green grass and beautiful flowers. As I was standing there, amazed by the wonderful scenery, from a distance, Axel stood.

"Axel?"

I ran towards him, for he is the only person around and the only one that I knew I can run into.

"Are you okay, Alaura?"

"Well, I guess so. I was so blank the whole day and I didn't know what to do and I am so confused right now." I said as tears ran down my cheeks.

"Don't cry, Alaura. Dreams respond with your feelings, you might see that figure again." he jokingly said as he wiped my tears.

I smiled with a feeling of relief. I already feel as light as a feather, now that I'm here with him. I feel a lot more comfortable to talk to him. I feel like I've known him for like, forever.

"Alaura?"

"Yes?"

"I think you look beautiful in that dress."

"What dress? Oh." I said as I stared into my lovely white dress.

As I was looking at it, I noticed that I have a little bag at my side. Without thinking, I reached for a pocket mirror and an ancient hourglass. I opened the pocket mirror and put the hourglass inside. Once again, it hovered above my hand, creating a magic portal.

"Where does this portal take me?"

"It depends on you and your feelings. Whether you want to wake up or explore more places in your dreams."

"Oh, I see."

"Where do you want to go now, Alaura?"

"Uhm, well, I don't know. But I have a feeling that I should be waking up by now.”

“If that’s your choice.”

“Goodbye.”

He smiled and waved as I went into the portal. Well, it’s time to get up and get ready for school. Wow! I feel so good already. I feel a lot better. It’s like I’ve been cured after that dream.

“Wake up now my wonderful sibling.” I said softly as I touched my sister to wake her up.

“What time is it?” my sister asked.

“Just look at the clock. It’s time for school now, silly.”

“Fine.”

Why do I have to have a mean sister? She may be like that, but I still love my siblings equally. They both are like little cinnamon rolls that are worth protecting for.

“Good morning, Ms. Rose. It’s wonderful to see you again. We love you.” we stood as we sang in unison.

“Good morning students. You may now take your seats. Today, I have a huge announcement.”

Hmmm? I wonder what will that be. Is it very important? Why-

“We will be having a talent show on Wednesday which will be called Talent Day and everyone is invited. The ones that will participate here will have additional grades. For those who want to join, just sign up here." Ms. Rose happily said while holding up a form.

I wonder who will join. Almost everyone in this room is shy and don't have the guts to perform onstage. Haela is an exception, because she is really talented and very confident onstage. Maybe I'll just sign up, so that I will have additional grades. Well, I can sing, so here I go. As I walked towards the teacher's desk, I noticed that Axel is behind me. I wonder. What is his talent?  As I signed up, I sensed a feeling of regret. I shouldn't have signed up. But it's for the sake of my grades. As I sat down, and saw Axel smiling at me, again. Why does he keep doing that?  I sensed warmth in my cheeks. Am I blushing? As I opened my notebook, I felt someone gently poked my arm.

"What are you going to do, Ara?"

As I turned, Haela was happily waiting for me to answer her question.

"You already know that, Hae."

"So, you'll sing?" she asked as if I weren't sure about my decision.

"Yes."

"Good luck, Ara" she said with a hint of worry in her voice.

"You too, Hae."
