❝ CHAPTER SIX: A MUCH NEEDED MEETING ❞

Taeyong opened the door to the dorm and slammed it.

Many of the members were startled from that action. Taeyong was pissed, and they could all see that.

"We're having a meeting, right now," Taeyong said angrily, walking over to the couch to sit down.

He placed his face in his hands, taking in a deep breath "What about Haechan and Mark?They 're not here," Lucas asked apprehensively.

Taeyong shook his head, "That's who this meeting is about," Taeyong said. They all looked confused but gathered around.

Taeil sat next to Taeyong and put an arm around the younger's shoulders in an attempt to calm him down.

"What happened," Taeil asked calmly.

"Over the past few months, I've been noticing a change in the members who are in Dream. They've been acting weird and try to avoid questions directed at them that are about their wellbeing," Taeyong started explaining.

This grabbed everyone's attention, some were nodding their heads in agreement.

"My worry grew more when Haechan nearly had a panic attack when he was with us in the dorm, which according to Yuta, ended with him crying and Mark trying to calm him down. Just the other day, Kun told me about how he heard Jeno pleading for someone to stop hurting him while he was sleep talking" Everyone's eyes grew wide at this statement.

They couldn't imagine someone wanting to hurt the younger members.

Even though many had their suspicions, they didn't want it to be true.

"Jisung apparently seemed to know what to do since he practically ran over to Jeno when Kun told him. Johnny also told me that it looks like they are all sleeping together in one room on the floor since there were multiple pillows and blankets on the ground," Taeyong continued.

"Can I add something to that?" Jaehyun asked.

All eyes turned onto him, their curiosity growing. Taeyong nodded his head.

„Yuta and I went to observe some of Dream's practice. It felt... tense. I couldn't exactly place what was wrong, but it didn't feel like what a practice should feel like. I also talked to their choreographer about their practices, mentioning that they were becoming more tired and worn than usual. He had a tone about him that seemed fake,"

"What do you mean by that?" Ten asked, looking at both Jaehyun and Yuta. Yuta stared at the ground, frowning.

"It's complicated to explain. I felt it too, the strange atmosphere during the practice. It was almost as if they were afraid. They never gave ideas or comments during the practice. They were completely silent while only the choreographer spoke," Yuta said.

"Hyung, there's something strange about that man, but I can't figure out what it is," Jaehyun said.

"Did you talk to the manager?" Doyoung asked. Taeyong nodded his head, "Yeah, and that's why I'm so pissed. He's not going to do anything,"

"What? Why not?" Winwin asked, angered by what Taeyong had said about the manager. The others were angry as well.

Taeyong sighed, "He said that since we don't have any definitive proof and that the members themselves haven't said anything about it that he can't do anything,"

"But you just said that Jeno was sleep talking about being hurt. Was that not proof enough?" Winwin asked.

"I know, but he wouldn't buy it," Taeyong said, thinking back to the conversation that he had with their manager.

Taeyong walked up to a door and knocked on it, heart pounding as to what the outcome of this comversation would be.

The manager called out for him to come in Their manager, Mr Song looked up, surprised "What brings you here Taeyong?"

Taeyong closed the door and walked over to the desk, not taking a seat on the couch.

"I know what I'm about to say may seem crazy, but I need you to hear me out on this," Taryong said.

Mr Song nodded, "What is it that s troubling you?"

"I think someone is hurting the members of Dream," Taeyong stated, Mr Song narrowed his eyes and leaned back on the chair, "What do you mean by that?"

Taeyong went on to explain what Johnny, Jaehyun and Kun had found out, and about the panic attack that Haechan had Mr. Song sighed.

"I'm afraid there's nothing that I can do about this, " Taeyong looked at him surprised, then became angry.

"What do you mean you can't do anything? I just gave you a list of reasons to do something,"

"You are making a very serious accusation, and you don't even have a suspect. You just have circumstantial events that could just be a fluke,"

"Haechan nearly had a panic attack. Jeno was pleading for someone not to hurt him. How is that circumstantial?" Taeyong said, practically seething.

Mr. Song shook his head, "I'm sorry, Taeyong, but there's nothing that I can do,"

Taeyong glared at Mr. Song then left the room, not seeing any reason to continue the conversation.

"If he's not going to do anything, then we will have to figure out something to do to help," Taeyong said.

"But what? What could we possibly do?" Lucas asked, upset by what was being said.

Taeyong shook his head, "I have no idea,"

"How about we have two people be present during their practices. That way nothing could happen to the members in Dream during that time," Taeil said.

Everyone nodded, agreeing to that idea. "We'll start off with that idea. I don't want to go in too heavy and potentially get them more hurt than they already are," Taeyong said, sighing. He put is face into his hands.

"I'm such a shitty leader to be letting this happen to them,"

Taeil pulled him into a hug, feeling his shirt starting to get wet from tears. "You're not a shitty leader. They have probably been threatened by whoever is hurting them. It's possible that their abuser is threatening to hurt one of us if they don't comply. There's got to be a reason why they would hide something like this," Taeil said.

Taeyong continued to cry, "I'd rather the man abuse me than hurt any one of you. I'm the leader, I'm supposed to make sure that they are safe and happy,"

The others watched as their leader broke down. They were all in shock, not knowing what to do.

Winwin was the first to get up, but instead of leaving he joined the hug. Slowly, all the members did the same, forming one large group hug.

They all had to be strong in order to get the members of Dream to be safe again.
