The day that the members of Dream had been dreading arrived. It was the SM Halloween party that many in the company look forward to.

The members would uaually have loved to go, but that meant lying to themselves and others about how they were feeling.

This was even more difficult to do considering the drastic change in a few of the members Mark had continued to be silent and wanted to interact as little as possible with others outside Dream.

He continuously had nightmares that wouldn't go away no matter how hard he tried. As for Chenle, he had become extremely quiet.

He barely talked about anything which was starting to get hard to cover since he would act that way around the hyungs.

Jisung had become more aggressive than usual. They all knew it was his way to cope with having witnessed Chenle be raped and with all of the abuse, though that didn't stop them from worrying about him accidently attacking someone.

As for the others, no one else had been raped. They all feared for the day that it would happen. The members of Dream still got beat by Mr. Yang whenever he would randomly show up in their dorms.

It could be during the day, or even in the dead of night. Naturally, this meant that sleep was becoming almost foreign to them.

Some of the members like Jeno and Jaemin were becoming paranoid and had trouble sleeping, fearing for the next attack. Mark was worried that they were developing insomnia.

While it was nice to not have practice for a little while, since their manager agreed to let them have some days off, it also meant that the abuse could happen at any moment during those free days.

Chenle started to feel slightly better after a few days but was still mentally terrible. None of them blamed him but were more worried than anything.

Worry seemed to be something that they very familiar with. "Are you ready for the party?" Renjun asked Mark and Haechan who had entered the living room.

Renjun was helping Chenle with his makeup for his IT costume. He had chosen it before he was raped, but it seemed to be the perfect costume anyway.

It covered all of his body, and the makeup helped cover the bruises on his skin and the sullen look on his face. don't know.

"I just want to get it over with," Mark said. Haechan nodded.

"Do you think the managers and Mr. Yang will be there?" Jeno asked, sitting against the couch with his knees up and arms wrapped around them. Haechan went to join him.

"Most likely. I guess that means we'll have to act as natural as possible," Jaemin said. Mark could almost laugh at what was happening.

They were getting ready for a party which meant that the room should have been filled with laughter and happiness.

Instead, it felt as though they were getting ready for a funeral. We should also keep a look out on our manager and what our hyungs are observing.
