There will may or may not be gore, that is undecided.
There is homosexuality in this book.
There may or may not be sexual intercourse between men. I'll warn you guys.
There also may be self-harm or thoughts of suicide. I'll warn you guys about that, too.
In the plot, being 'gay' in the society will get you killed, crucified, or tortured.
If you're not comfortable with the aforementioned, please refrain from reading my book.
