How to play in three basic steps

1. First the DM (dungeon master) will describe the environment. Like telling the players where they are and what's around them.

2. The players will say/describe what they want to do. Sometimes one player will speak for all the players for example they might say that "we'll take the south door". At other times you'll do different things like searching a body of an monster you just defeated while someone inspects a map and so on. The DM will listen to every player a decides how to resolve those actions.

3. The DM will narrate the results of the players actions. This will make a flow that brings the game back to step one.
