Skye is an anomaly, invisible in the distant jungle world that she inhabits. No one seems to notice her, and to be frank, she doesn't really care. She's just trying to live her life without remembering that she's in a world that runs on skew-if logic that doesn't quite work for her. Until something changes.
One day, Skye's wandering through the market trying to find some food to scavenge, when she hears an explosion and following that, finds a group of people following a guide to a shack containing a snake in a basket. And suddenly, one of them spots her. And she spots them, as well.
The world of Skye is going to change quicker than she ever thinks. Finding out that she's supposed to be a sentence repeating NPC in a complicated video game world is the least of her problems. But two of the players take her fancy, the first two to see her for who she is. Maybe this will be fun...
