" Welcome to my crib!"

" Really? did you just say that?" Leo laughed at me.

" I was trying to think of something cool to say, that's all I could think of!" I laughed, closing and locking the front door.

" I like your apartment" Leo commented as he looked around the very modern, open plan, kitchen, living room and dining. The only doors were the ones leading to the bathroom and my bedroom.

" Thanks" I smiled walking into the kitchen, he followed. He took a seat on a stool at the kitchen bench while I searched the fridge.

" Want a coke?" I offered.

" Sure" he smiled and I handed him a can of coke, this actually feels really awkward, was it really the best idea to invite a stranger home with me? probably not.

" You know what, make yourself comfortable on the lounge, pick a movie to watch. I'll have a shower and we can watch whatever movie you want" I smiled.

" Ok" he agreed and stood up from his seat.

" Just don't steal anything while I'm in there" I said to him, standing in front of him.

" No promises" he smirked.

" Steal anything and i'll have to come after you and kill you" I warned giving him a light shove in the chest.

" You don't even know my name or what I properly look like, how do plan on that?" he said cheekily teasing me.

" I thought you were a decent guy" I said sarcastically, shaking my head disappointedly.

" Don't worry, go shower" he said shoving me lightly towards my room.

" Fine, don't be so rough" I groaned walking in my room to grab a change of clothes.

Once in my room I grabbed a pair of navy blue underwear, a matching bra, and a black over sized shirt that fits me like a dress. This is what I would usually wear to sleep, or be around my own house (maybe not the bra, but I don't want freak him out by not wearing one, yikes!) why change who I am? I've done that before and I'm sick of it.

I walked out of my room, my clothes bundled up in my hands. The ninja turtle had already made himself comfy on my lounge, flicking through the TV channels.

" I'll be quick, so hurry up and pick a movie" I told him and hurried into the bathroom, he flashed me a cute smile before I closed the door.

Once in the bathroom I wiped off the dark makeup with a makeup removal wipe, most of it came off. I tied my hair up in a bun after brushing it, so it won't get wet. Then stripped off and got into the shower.

I washed quickly, mainly because there is a stranger sitting in my living room and I don't completely trust him.
Like what if he is my room trying on my underwear right now? Or possibly worse! eating all my food!

At that thought, I quickly got out of the shower, dried of and got dressed. I brushed out my hair letting it fall down my back, then brushed my teeth.
I walked out the bathroom looking like myself for the first time in front of the ninja turtle.

As I walked towards him, his attention turned away from the TV and onto me. As soon as he looked at me, he jumped up from the lounge on to his feet, almost like a military soldier when a superior approaches.

" What are you doing you weirdo?" I laughed at how strangely he just acted.

"No- nothing" he stuttered looking at me in the eyes.

" Quit looking at me" I said playfully to him.

" Sorry... It's just your beaut-"

" Can I take your mask off now?!" I cut him off asking excitedly.

" I guess" he shrugged, he faced me front on and I reached behind his head.

" Can't reach" I said as I struggled to reach the back of his head, I didn't want him to turn around and untie it the easy way, because that kills the fun of the reveal. I'm quite over dramatic aren't I?

" Here" he said, after noticing my struggle, his hands gripped my waist and he lifted me up and put me down so I was standing on the coffee table. Now I'm much much taller than him, but its easier to untie it now.

" Thanks...ok" I said picking at the knot at the back of his head, I managed to get it undone and the blue mask fell to the floor. He grabbed me by the waist once again and put me on the ground.

I stood in front him, my head titled up looking in his eyes. It's strange, still looks like the same person, slightly different and just more... attractive?

We both stood silently staring at each other, like there was no words necessary at this moment.

I felt as if we were leaning in towards each other, close enough that we could feel our breaths colliding.

Our lips are so close, but we just seem frozen at that point, not able to get any closer and seal a possible kiss.
I realized what was happening and took a step back from him.

" I don't even know your name" I said looking at the ground avoiding eye contact.

" Yeah, sorry, I don't know what I was thinking... I'm just stupid, your beautiful.. I mean.. your not...well you are...beautiful I mean. I'm stupid can I shut up now?" The ninja turtle stuttered and sighed in the end just giving up. I was extremely flattered that he called me beautiful and the way he kept tripping up on his words, he obviously meant it. As flattered as I am, I try not to have an over dramatic reaction (ironic for a drama queen), I quickly recover and think of something to say.

" Yeah..um..lets just watch a movie?" I asked awkwardly taking the easy subject change.
