"How sure Ave?"

"I have an IQ of 158- I'm pretty fricking sure!"

Stalking through the night with Bellamy, Octavia, Gabriel and our small army of his followers we all come to a stop at the edge of the shield. The blue zaps from pillar to pillar protecting those inside Sanctum. Pausing at the edge in the foliage, Octavia wonders "What do we do now?"

"Now we wait", Bellamy tells her, our eyes scanning over the field.

Clarke's not gotten it down yet meaning she's still working on a way to find Ryker and take it down. Unsure if it's to sooth my own stress over Clarke being in there undercover and alone, I murmur "She'll get it down."

Surprisingly, Bellamy turns on Gabriel telling him "You. You can go in and help her."

Wide-eyed, Gabriel gives him a curt shake of his head as Octavia reminds him "How Bell? They know what he looks like from Jade."

"And... you know... ", I speak up with a brash shrug towards Bellamy "That's not the plan." From the way he shakes his head and gazes over the fields of Sanctum I know Bellamy wants nothing more than to rush in their guns blazing and help Clarke. To protect her and those we've left behind to save her. Just thinking about how I left Raven, Jackson and Miller make my stomach turn but I know they're strong. They've survived a hell of a lot worse then Sanctum. Encouragingly I step beside Octavia as he continues to gaze unmoved over the fields. "Go", I encourage her quietly. Her doe eyes peering skeptically around to me, I give Octavia an encouraging nod towards Bellamy "Go give him a little bit of faith."

"I'm not so sure he wants me to" Octavia quietly admits with a small shake of her head.

Placing my hand on her back, I assure her "Trust me. He wants you to." Octavia is hesitant but agrees taking a few steps out of the tree line. "Hey", I quickly call after Octavia. Glancing back over her shoulder I give her a knowing smile "I knew you could pull yourself out kiddo."

Rolling her eyes, Octavia reminds me with a smile "You could not have known that." When I only give her an amused wink, Octavia's falters for a moment. Her gaze flickers to the floor before she looks back up hopefully "Am I still too big and scary for you?"
