Today Reeyenna is happy because she gets to have a normal day at school, without having to run around and miss classes. Although, it is still a school day, so she can't wait to get home and relax and not worry about schoolwork.

Reeyenna goes to school like normal, until she arrives. When Reeyenna arrives at school she is met by her old childhood friend, Rin. At first she didn't believe him when he said yesterday that he wanted to be friends again, but now she's starting to think that he might really want to rekindle the friendship they once had. Since Reeyenna and Rin have the same first period class together they walk together to their class.

Reeyenna doesn't have very many friends at school. At least none that she really considers friends and hang out with all the time. Rin took notice to this and asked if he could eat lunch with her. While they ate their lunch they started talking about their childhood.

Rin wanted to clear the air and apologize for what happened previously, at their old school, for not being entirely there for Reeyenna. He feels responsible for what happened with her classmates in the past because he could or just didn't do anything to help his only true friend. Rin thinks to himself, 'It's all my fault for what happened. I didn't do anything to help her. I used to do anything to help her out, until middle school. It's a repeat of what happened last time. Why couldn't I have seen it? I see anything else. Why not this? This happened before, so why couldn't I see it?'

On the other hand, Reeyenna didn't want an apology from him. Reeyenna tells him, "It makes me feel better that you knows all this, but it doesn't change anything. You still forgot about me. At least until I moved away." Rin replied, "I know I can't change what happened in the past and the fact that I wasn't there for you, but I want to be here for you now." "Well I don't need your pity," says Reeyenna. "I swear it's not pity, Reeyenna!" says Rin. "If it were I wouldn't be trying so hard to convince you," says Rin. After their heated discussion the two of them headed their separate ways onto their next class.

Reeyenna was really hurt by the series of events that happened when she was a kid. Some of them were because of her classmates and they treated her at school. Other events hurt because those she relied on weren't there for her. One of those people was Rin Kagiama, but the worse thing that has happened to her was what her own parents have done to her. She's told no one about what they've done. Mainly because she's afraid of what'll happen if she does. Her parents have a way of finding out whatever it is they want and if that isn't the worst of it, they are so highly respected that if she were to tell anyone anything, there is no certainty that anyone will believe her. Then if anyone found out about the accident in the woods, especially her parents, who knows what would happen as a result.

Reeyenna thinks, 'The worst thing that could happen at this point would be what my parents would do if they found out about the accident that occurred in the woods.'
