Taya was so exited for a new school year , but she also had a fuzzy feeling about this year . this summer her dad had died because of suicide , he had shot himself . now the only one she had was her mother and her sisters Emili and Chelsii . chelsii was super sad when their dad died . she started running away and one day she came back mean . she started giving them the cold shoulder. ice cold shoulder ... little did they know they were each turning icy little by little .. until they found out the truth ...
Taya's pov
"why is my life so terrible first dad dies then almost suddenly chelsii give us the icy shoulder . mother is depresse- " i saw my mother out of the corner of my eye and said sorry . BEEP BEEP BEEP oh no that was the smoke alarm . we got emili and tried to get chelsii and ran out of the house . we were too late . the house burned down and chelsii was caught in the fire . our neighbors came by and said we could stay with them because mother was pregnant (8 and a half months pregnant) my little sister emili and i wanted to sit outside for a little bit . so we did . emili got up and said "since we have some time on our hands lets explore the rumored CURSED village in the forest " so i got up and we walked and walked after what seemed like ten minutes we arrived at the forest village and i was totes freaked out . emili stayed by my side as we walked through the village . we came up to an old bridge saying Welcome To Santa discord , magical village for humans and elves "what is this place" i whispered to my little sister ... no response . i looked behind me and what i saw wasn't quite clear but neither my mind . i saw not emili but a bunch of ... Elks ! except they were purplish-brown with ancient marks on them . emili was standing right behind them and said " taya lets follow them . it seems they like us . and they must want to show us something " i said okay and we followed the elks past the bridge . we came to a stop at a recent looking wooden cabin and inside there was a portal . i fainted from disbelief . . .
