When I heard my alarm clock go off I jumped out of bed and flew to my closet, hmmm what to where? I thought to myself. I ended up choosing a nice green collared dress with white lace and a pair of light brown combat boots.
Off to the bathroom... I thought
Humming all the way I went to the bathroom and did my makeup. I touched it off with light eye shadow before brushing my straight dark brown hair and leaving the bathroom and walking down the stairs for breakfast.
As soon as my foot touched down in the kitchen the smell of chocolate chip pancakes filled my nose,
"Mmmm. Smells good mom."
"Yup honey. Chocolate chip pancakes and crispy bacon, your favorite."
She's right. I thought as I sat down and grabbed myself a pancake, poured a glass of orange juice, and took a couple pieces of bacon.
When I was done I took a last drink of my orange juice and ran back up the stairs to grab my bag.
While I was walking down the hallway I passed my younger brother's room,
"C'mon Charlie we're going to be late."
"Alright, alright. I'm coming."
I spun around and ran down the stairs and turned the corner to find my older brother, Michael.
He was still sitting in his room struggling with his shoe laces,
"Oh Mike, please hurry I don't want to be late."
"What are you talking about? We have plenty of time." He looked at his clock, "Oh-I-I, I thought it was earlier than that!"
I laughed as Mike started freaking out, running around and throwing clothes everywhere. I decided to just go wait by the door.
Finally when Charlie and Mike were ready, we said good bye to our mom and dad and jumped into Mike's small car.
After Mike dropped off Chrlie at his middle school he pulled up to our school I saw my friends sitting on the steps.
Now Erickson Hills Highschool wasn't very big. Just about 300 kids including Mike and I. As I got out of the car I said thank you to Mike and him and I parted ways, he went to go hang out with his senior friends, and me with my freshman friends.
"Hey Finn! Over here!" My friend Chelsea waved me over
"Oh my goodness Finn! You look so cute!"
"Thanks Grace!"
"You do look nice Finn." My friend Max said and I blushed.
Chelsea, Grace, and Max were my three best friends. Chelsea was quirky and fun with bleach blonde hair and bright blue eyes. Grace was shy and fragile, today her black wavy hair was loose framing her small face. She has big nerd glasses and green eyes, the rest of her body was small and she was really skinny. Max though was fit, he was on the basketball team and is wearing his jersey today. His light short brown hair was always cleanly cut and his blue eyes sparkled in the sunlight.
"Thanks." I said as I sat down on the steps with them.
"So what's the occasion?" Chelsea asked raising her eyebrow
"Nothing I just felt like dressing up today."
"Ohh okay." She said with a smirk
"What?"
"Oh nothing." But I knew something was beginning to form in her mind and honestly it scared me.
"You know Chelsea, you can be really creepy." Grace said
