Being with the leader of SWAT means a lot of compromise in the relationship. But knowing they'll come home at the end of the day is a relief. Sometimes you don't know and it scare the hell out of you.
"I'll make sure to keep that in mind," Dr. Lim smiled. "You're good to go, Zendaya. You guys have a safe drive back."
"Thank you," I smiled as Dr. Lim and Dr. Melendez left. "It's gonna be good to have you back."
"I'm ready to be back," Zee smiled.
"I just texted Hicks and Jess that you have a clean bill of health," I stated. "Let's get you back." I drove us home and got us back to LA at about five that evening. We walked through the front door and closed the door behind me. "Hey, Zee?" I grabbed a box from the closet; a white box with a silver bow. I handed it to her. "Get changed into this. We're going to celebrate."
"You're the best," Zee smiled.
"You know it," I replied. She ran upstairs. After a good twenty minutes, she returned wearing the dress with her hair and makeup done. "Okay, uhm...wow!"

"I love this dress, Hondo," Zee spun around. "You finally bought a dress for me, by yourself."
"After three years of living together, I started piecing together your style," I replied. "Ready?"
"Let's go," Zee nodded. I drove us to headquarters. "Please tell me that you're here to grab something or sign something."
"Yeah," I lied. "Come on." We got out of the car. We held hands and walked inside. "I love you."
"I love you, too," Zee replied. We walked into headquarters. "Why is it so dark?"
"Surprise!" everyone yelled as the lights turned on.
"Oh my gosh, guys," Zee smiled.
"There's my girl!" Luca walked up to us. He handed her a teddy bear with a little pink headband. "That's for you. I didn't know what else to get you."
"Thanks, Luca," Zee replied as she hugged him. "I'll put it on the mantle."
"Zee," Annie gave her a hug. "Deac had asked me to cook your favorite foods for this party."
"Awh, you shouldn't have," Zee nodded. "Where is Deacon?"
"He went to the locker room as soon as you walked in," Annie replied. "He hasn't come back yet."
"Hondo, could you go check on him?" Zee asked.
"Yeah, I'll be right back," I nodded. I went to the locker room and Deacon was holding a letter. "Hey, what are you doing in here, man? Party's out there."
"When I gave my letter to Annie, I wrote a new one to keep in my locker," Deacon sighed. "This one isn't addressed to Annie. It's addressed to Zendaya."
"Why is your letter addressed to Zee?" I asked.
"Hondo, the reason why Zendaya left my house four weeks ago, I told her."
