too often am i left to wonder
why people feel a strong need to try
try to look good, to impress, or even to stay alive
no matter how different or similar we may all be
the hope within us still stands proudly
think about how often you have hope to lead the way
it goes frequently un noticed but it has an important role to play
we hope he might notice us
we hope we might get that part
we hope tomorrow we might feel happier
the truth is we all need a push through the maze of uncertainty in the life we live
the cruel world tries to sneak in through the back door to remind us of the sorrow that is at our doorstep
perhaps the ones who dont make it simply forgot to lock the door
or maybe even left it unlocked on purpose
i pray i dont turn out to live a life in dismay
for i stand tall, with hope that tomorrow will be a better day
