"Like up, line up, everybody line up" My little sister sang like that teacher in bubble guppies. Little sister was six just so you know.
"Momma has something important to say" Mia scolded everyone as we all went in a line to make her happy.
"Okay, today's a big day," mom claps to the little kids, "it's moving day!" She smiles brightly.
Yes I'm moving, and my whole family is helping.
"Zach, Mason, and Mia, put everything in your room in a box. Joe and Tony will be doing the living room, Sawyer and Sara are in the basement bringing up those boxes. I'll be packing my room with the help of Pastor Tina. Tallie, can you bubble wrap the glass plates and cups in the kitchen and put them in boxes, Foze boys can help pack the bathrooms, Jocelyn and Delia can help in Miss room." My mom gave out orders, she was very organized.
We were moving three miles away in a bigger house so Mason can go to my high school instead of a trashy one.
Mason was my younger brother.
The only people here that weren't related to me were Pastor Tina Foze and her four boys.
Delia and Jocelyn were my little cousins, Pa Joe was my grandfather and my grandma wasn't here at the moment, Sawyer and Sara were Jocelyns parents, Talia and Tony were Delia's parents and that's it.
Anyway, it took half the day to get everything in the large moving truck out front. It was 8:00 AM when we started and it's 5:00 now and all of the bedrooms are finished along with furniture. However my mom is sleeping on a mattress, just a mattress on the floor.
Everyone's feet hurt so badly so they all went home and life was boring again.
I had never lived in any other house besides that one, I wasn't scared of it but it was strange of being in a house for seventeen years and then in a month, you're in a different one permanently.
It was weird seeing the hallway light come under the door that is on the side and not straight ahead of you and everything is moved around.
Don't get me wrong, I didn't mind much about moving, it wasn't a far walk back and I hated that old school but I was going to miss some of my friends, it's very easy to make new ones though, at least for me.
I wanted to see what my siblings rooms looked like because I haven't seen it yet and I was surprised. Mason was like barricaded in his room because it was so small and Mia's bunk bed took up half of hers, it was a lot bigger without furniture.
My room however was much bigger, my full sized bed straight in the middle of the room and my dresser in the middle of my big window. Plus my closet was big too. I also had an end table on the left side because I always sleep on the left side of the bed, it's closest to my charger in both houses.
A bathroom was in my room, I was very happy about that because I have never had a bathroom In my room before, there was also a bathroom in the hallway outside of me and my siblings rooms, which were right next to each other.
My mom was downstairs all my herself, but the kitchen was down the hall from us so I don't doubt she'll mostly be up here at the dining table doing her nails.
Impractical jokers was on in the living room, luckily Pa Joe put the tv on the wall for us while he was here. Impractical jokers Is one of Me and Masons favorite show, Friends is first.
My mom drank her wine while scrolling through her phone and occasionally looking in confusion at the Tv as Mia was in her own world, playing with our annoying little cute white dog named Blitz.
My family was fine just the way it is, it may have a few clear issues and some hidden ones but doesn't every family, every person.
"Mia and Mason you need to get some sleep for school tomorrow. It's your first day at a new school, it is a big deal" mom shooed then up to bed.
"You should go to bed too mom" I looked at her with the empty wine glass in her hand.
"I know" she gave me a kiss on my cheek and I went into my room upstairs. I made sure Mia was actually going to bed because surely she wouldn't. I found her under the bed with the dog laughing hysterically.
"Mia, get out, it's bedtime" I called and she wiggled herself out of there along with the dog.
"Come on, pajamas, I'll get them, you stay" I point to her as I turned around for her dresser.
Grabbing her pajamas I shoved the white fluffy shirt over her ginormous curly haired head and she insisted on putting her pajama pants on. Then she climbed up the ladder on her top bunk and grabbed a book. I have to read to her or she won't go to sleep.
I read the whole book to her and once I was done she begged for another.
"Mia, it's already ten, you need to be energized and happy tomorrow for kindergarten in a new area. It's scary, you have to be ready for it" I explained to her.
"Can you get me some water and turn my lil lamp on." She passed me her water bottle and I groaned. I snatched it grumpily out of her little baby hands and climbed down this pain in the ass ladder and walked down the hallway to the kitchen.
When I went back in her room I turned the light off, making her scream so loud it burst my eardrums and quickly turned it back on and handed her the water.
"Turn my lil lamp on!" she yelled before I walked out and I sighed.
"Oh! Can you get the tablet and put on some noise so I can sleep?" she asked.
"No. Turn the fan on" I put it on 2.
"Then it will be too cold" she whined.
I turned the fan against the wall and not towards her and it shut her up. I then gave her a hug goodnight because she insists on it and left her room finally and went into mine.
I stripped into my boxers and threw my clothes on a chair and jumped in my bed. I was tired but I wasn't going to bed so early. I stayed up another two hours watching Friends on my phone before falling asleep.
