May 23, 2003:
Dana was trying to sleep, but remembering the day. That the most important person to her.
It was the day that she going to tell Carter something special, something so important then she close her eyes and started dreaming today she lost him.
~STARTED DREAM SEQUENCE~
April 30, 2001: Back on that day that Carter die.
Dana and Carter were curled up together at the couch, enjoying something together on tv before going to work.
Dana: Carter, I got something to tell you. "She started to said to him."
As Carter sit up straight and look at Dana, waiting to listen what his wife going to tell him.
Carter: Yes Dana, what is it. "He ask."
Dana open her mouth to tell him something exciting, until Carter pager beeped off. Stop Dana telling Carter something. He quickly look at it, before looking back at Dana.
Carter: Sorry Dana, what you have to say. I guess you have to talk me about it later, I guess. I love you.
Dana: I love you, too. Carter.
He quick gave her kiss and smile her as he left to work in a hurry.
About 15 minutes after Carter went to work in a hurry, Dana knew it was time for her to get to work as well. So she change out of her pajamas then put on her uniform and left, then headed to the hospital.
Three hours later as Dana checking out one of the patient, when all of a sudden the alarm goes off. Then she took off down the hall and saw a fireman in gurney, the paramedic roll him over and reveal to be Carter.
Dana eyes widened opens in horror to see that her husband was really badly injured, Carter was burnt from his from his upper body as he was barely breathing.
Dana: Ryan! What happened? "She asks her brother"
Ryan: He was trying to rescuing a boy on third floor, when the roof collapse and fell on top from him. "He reply to his sister?
Dana and other stuff, quickly got Carter to the ER room as doctor and nurse had his fireman uniform removed, meanwhile Carter blood pressure is dropping as one of the nurse informed her.
Dana was desperately trying to keep him alive, but Carter was starting drifting away from her.
Dana: NO! Don't you dare leave me Carter Samuel Grayson.
But it was no use as his pulse is continued to drop, he was going flat on the heart monitor as Carter no longer responding.
Nurse: I'm sorry Dana, he gone into cardiac arrest. He's gone. "She told her."
Dana: Nooooo! "She scream, sinking onto the floor."
As she couldn't get his pulse back and couldn't saved him for the sake of trying too as he is gone, Dana cry up in tears as Carter laying there dead on the operating table and she continued to cry of loss love of her life.
After a minutes of crying, Dana back on her feet. As she held into her beloved husband hand for about two minutes.
Before she removing his wedding ring, then she slowly put the sheet over his deceased body as she continued cry and walks off.
As Dana leave the ER room with Carter ring hold in her as let out another tears rolling down her face, Dana felt like fainting as she was the about to fall and collapsed on the floor. But then Ryan see her about hit the ground and quickly rushed to his little sister and catch her.
