The drive to school with Ian Donovan was hands down the most uncomfortable one. We both just sit in silence only to be accompanied by some random pop songs from the radio.
"Okay, you can get out now." Ian's voice broke the silence and I quickly scanned the surrounding just to notice that we were still outside of school area. It was like 200 meters away from school.
I looked at him with incredulous look. "But, we are not arrived at the school yet, mister. It's a bit more ahead if you notice."
He scoffed. "I'm not going to school with you. Be grateful I drive you up until here. You are more than welcome to walk to school now. It's not that far."
"No way! I'm not going out from this car unless we are at the school." I said then turned my face to look at him with my arms crossed. "Wether you like it, or not."
Ian blew a heavy sigh. His grip tightened on the stirring signalling he was angry and try his best to contain his emotions right now. One thing I learned from him based on our short encounter was he quite a reserved person, emotionally.
"Can you at least do that for me? I promise I'll drive you home. But, inside of school area we are strangers. You get it?" He tried to persuade me, his eyes looking desperate.
"Why?! Is it that bad to go to school with me? It's not like it will cause you any harm to be seen with me." I said my voice now an octave higher.
"You wanna know why?" He said in almost a whisper. "I just don't like people like you. You better get out now voluntarily before I drag you out. Don't you dare me." If looks could kill, I would be dead by now.
I was scared, not because of his threat but because of how much hatred he had for me. For no reasons.
I bit my lips as I was left speechless yet once again by his words. "Fine. Glad that our feelings are mutual." I then get out of his car. "And no need to take me home after school, I have my ride home." I said as I closed the door rather forcefully and walk away angrily.
He just drive passed me without sparing me a glance. Jerk!
"Omg! Omg! You guys will not believe what I'm about to say next! Omg!" Casie chirped as she took a seat next to me at our usual lunch table.
As you can figure out, it was lunch time already and throughout the past period I was receiving a lot of comfort words from everyone regarding what happened yesterday in which I almost forgot about it. Faith was nowhere to be found today. I bet she would transfer school after everything that happened.
This was what you get if you ever mess with me, Kiera Martino. Serve her right.
"Can you just cut the excitement a bit and go straight to the point." Marlee said right after Casie. As expected from a girl with limited patience.
"I shared my last class with THE prince of tennis! Ian Donovan is the new kid girls! I still can't believe it! Out of all school in LA, he actually comes to our school!"
"Shut up!" Marlee was now also shared the same expression as Casie and not a few seconds later Lexie also joined the club, fangirling about Ian Donovan. The greatest jerk.
"Is this the same person who'll be competing in the Olympic next year?!" Lexie asked and Casie nodded aggressively.
I don't know he was this famous. Why would they even care about a tennis player? He was not even a celebrity.
"Hey Kiera, please don't tell me you don't know who is Ian Donovan?" Casie then asked me as I was the only one quiet the whole time.
I know who he was but I don't know he was this famous. Duh. However, I could not let them know the truth about my situation right now, it would ruin my reputation.
