Draco's heart ached at the sight of his childhood friend's tears. He had convinced his parents to let her spend the summer at his house, but he had done it to spend his last few weeks as a Hogwarts student with her. His parents were sending him to Durmstrang for the rest of his schooling years, meaning he'd have to leave everything and everyone he knew behind at Hogwarts.

"I'm sorry. I wish I could change their minds, but it was my father's choice. It would've been easier if it were my mother's decision." He muttered, looking down at his feet.

"They can't send you there! What am I going to do without my best friend?" Raven's sobs sent waves of pain and regret over Draco.

"Everything will be alright, Raven. I'm sure we'll see each other again."

Draco was taken by surprise when Raven stepped forward and wrapped her arms around him. He sighed as he wrapped his arm around her.

"Everything will be alright."

~ Raven's P.O.V.~

A bone chilling silence fell over the Great Hall as Professor Dumbledore spoke at the morning feast. I sat at the Slytherin table, Pansy Parkinson to my left and another Slytherin girl to my right. I looked up at Professor Dumbledore in wonder.

"Now that we're all settled in and sorted, I'd like to make an announcement. This castle will not only be your home this year, but home to some very special guests as well. You see, Hogwarts has been chosen to host a legendary event. The Triwizard tournament. Now, for those of you who do not know, the Triwizard Tournament brings together three schools for a series of magical contests. From each school, a single student is selected to compete. Let me be clear. If chosen, you stand alone. And trust me, these contests are not for the faint hearted. But more of that later. For now, please join me in welcoming the lovely ladies of the Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, and their Head Mistress Madam Maxime!"

The Great Hall doors opened, and a bunch of girls in blue uniforms strutted down the middle of the tables. Pansy snickered beside me, and I raised an eyebrow as I watched the foreigners. My attention returned to Professor Dumbledore as he spoke once more.

"And now our friends from the north. Please greet the proud students of Durmstrang, and their High Master Igor Kakarov!" He yelled.

"Draco?" I gasped, gaining Pansy's attention as I stared at the Great Hall doors.

The doors flew open, revealing chanting boys wielding walking sticks. Each time they slammed the sticks down onto the floor, sparks of fire would erupt. I smiled as I noticed one of the boys in the middle glanced over at the Slytherin table.

"Albus!" The Durmstrang Head Master chuckled when the little show was over.

I laughed as the older Slytherin girls had us all in the common room, dancing and singing along to the songs they were playing. The Durmstrang students sat together at a table in the corner, watching us as we let our strict selves melt away in front of them. One of the older students grabbed my hand and pulled me up onto the table they were standing on. Another pulled Pansy up onto the table, and I giggled as she panicked.

I spotted Draco in the corner of my eye, removing his hat and revealing his messy blond hair. Pansy and I looked at each other before we both bowed toward our guests.

A song started playing, and it earned each of the foreigners' attention. I smiled as I took Pansy's hand playfully and bowed toward her. She looked amazed as I started singing.

'I'll swim and sail on savage seas

With never a fear of drowning

And gladly ride the waves of life

If you would marry me

No scorching sun nor freezing cold

Will stop me on my journey

If you will promise me your heart'

I smiled as Draco stood up straight in his chair, and the Slytherin students stared at me in awe. Pansy looked at me as I nudged her side and continued singing.

'And love me for eternity

My dearest one, my darling dear

Your mighty words astound me

But I've no need for mighty deeds

When I feel your arms around me

But I would bring you rings of gold

I'd even sing you poetry

And I would keep you from all harm If you would stay beside me

I have no use for rings of gold

I care not for your poetry

I only want your hand to hold

I only want you near me'

As the song ended, one of the Slytherin boys held their hand out to me and helped me step down off of the table. I curtsied to the foreigners, and I could see the longing gaze in Draco's eyes as I turned back to the students who were on the table now.
