Shay's POV
After my blood was taken I was sent back to the hospital waiting room. When I got there I saw Donghae with his arm around Sami's shoulders. Sami had her head laid on his shoulder, while his head laid on top of her head. Beside them was Heechul, Yesung, and Ryeowook. The when Hyukjae noticed me he quickly stood up, and pulled me into a tight hug.
"Are you ok, Shay-ah?" He whispered. I stayed silent, because I was unsure of how to feel or what to say. He then pulled away, and gave me a worried look. "Shay-ah?" I then looked at him with sad eyes. "Is it the baby?" He asked, and I shook my head.
"It's Jessica. I just had to give her some of my blood, so her heart won't fail." I said weakly. "I'm just afraid that it won't be enough." I the whimpered as he pulled me into a tight hug again.
"Jessica is going to get through this, and I know she will because she's getting your help." He then hugged him tightly as I cried into the crook of his neck. "Don't be afraid, Shay-ah. I'm here for you. We can face this together." He whispered as I cried into his neck. I then muttered something I wish I hadn't.
"I love you." I said into his neck, but it was muffled so it wasn't very audible. He then pulled away, and stared at me for a moment. Before he could speak the doctor came in with blankets in her arms.
"Ms. Kim, would you like to hold your daughter?" I then felt tears roll down my face as I nodded. In that moment, everything bad slipped away. All I could focus on was the beautiful baby girl in my arms. I then placed my fingers softly along her small cheek. I have never seen anything so perfect in my life. It was as if time had stopped, and it was because of her.
"Violet...." I whispered.
"She's beautiful." Hyukjae said, before placing a soft kiss on her head. "Hello little angel. I'm your Appa, and this is your Eomma." Hyukjae said as tears of joy ran down his cheeks. "I'm going to do everything I can to make you, and your Eomma the happiest girls in the world." He whispered with a bright smile on his face. I then looked over at him, with a small smile. This looks like a start to a very bright, and happy future.
