Shay's POV
Doctor Kim came back 20 minutes later with a smile on her face.
"I'm happy to say that Ms. Owens is going to make a full recovery!" She beamed, and we all sighed in relief. "She can now have visitors, but only one at a time. She just woke up, and doesn't need a lot of people around her at once. Who would like to go first?" She asked.
"I'll go first." I said as I handed Violet to Hyukjae.
"Are you sure?" He asked as he cradled the baby. "I thought you'd wanna spend more time with Violet." I then smiled.
"I do, but I want to see Jessica. I'll be back soon." I said with a smile. I then stood up, and followed Doctor Kim to Jessica's room. She then opened the door.
"You have 15 minutes." She said as she closed the door behind me. I then looked over to Jessica, who smiled at me.
"Shay, you're here!" She exclaimed is a weak raspy voice. I then smiled as I sat down in the chair next to her bed. I then took her hand in mine.
"Of course I came. I won't ever leave you behind. Ever." I then noticed a tear slip down her cheek.
"Thank you for saving me."
"It's the least I could do after the gift you gave me." She then shook her head.
"I know that's not why you did it. You and I both know the real reason. The last 5 years you've felt like you owed me." She said sadly.
"Of course I felt in debt to you. Jessica, you gave me a kidney for crying out loud. Then on top of that you gave me a baby. Of course I owe you. But that wasn't my only reasons. I did it because I love you, and I want you to stay in my life. Besides, I want you in Violet's life. Even if you don't want to be her mother I still want you in her life, and in mine." She then smiled as tears of joy streamed from her tired eyes.
"I love you, Unnie (big sister)." I then smiled.
"I love you, Yeodongsaeng (little sister)."
