Smokekit blinked. "But Tallpaw, I don't think that's a very good idea..." She murmured. Tallpaw rolled his eyes, "Nonsense! Mousepaw agrees with me; we must sneak into TundraClan's camp! Prey-stealers..." Tallpaw snarled.

Currently, Tallpaw had just told the she-cat about his plan to attack TundraClan from the inside. Smokekit was confused. How could he attack them from the inside? It's not like he could join TundraClan pretending to be a rogue or something. And then, Tallpaw mentioned sneaking into the camp. Which didn't seem like a good idea either. Tallpaw wasn't the best at sneaking around, how could he sneak into a camp full of well-trained warriors? If he was caught, he definitely couldn't fight them all off at once. And since when did Mousepaw agree with sneaking into TundraClan territory? There was also no evidence that TundraClan actually stole their prey, so overall, this was a horrible plan.

"Aw, are you scared? Scaredy mouse, scaredy mouse!" Tallpaw sneered. "I--" Smokekit cut herself off. Toms are so immature! She thought angrily. "Am not!" She defended herself. "Are too," Tallpaw growled. "I already told you! Am not!" Smokekit tackled him with a small yowl of rage.

They rolled around play-fighting for a while, then stopped with Tallpaw pinning her. They were both breathing heavily, and Tallpaw smirked. "You're still a scaredy mouse." He cooed. Smokekit rolled her eyes, "Shut up, mouse-brain..." She rolled out of his grip.

"I forgot, you're just a kittypet's offspring!" Tallpaw snorted. Smokekit bristled. "What did you just call me?" She snarled. "Kittypet." Tallpaw smirked. "I'm no kittypet!" Smokekit screeched, launching herself onto him.

"What's going on?!" Buzzardstar demanded as he exited his den, Skyheart at his side. "He called me a kittypet!" Smokekit snarled. It was true that her father was unknown, but it didn't mean she was a kittypet!

Buzzardstar bristled, turning to Tallpaw. "Is this true?" He asked, rage edging his voice. Tallpaw dipped his head, a smirk plastered on his face. Smokekit narrowed her eyes. Foxhearted coward! I'm no kittypet! You think you're so special because you're Swiftclaw's kit... A growl rose in her throat. Well, guess what, arrogant fish-brain? I'm Buzzardstar's kin!

"You know this isn't true, don't you?" Buzzardstar asked the tom. Tallpaw shrugged. Buzzardstar narrowed his eyes. "Leapspeck told me her daughter's father's identity. He wishes to keep it secret, and Leapspeck has enough respect to keep it secret for him," He began, "Smokekit is no kittypet. Do not ever call her that again."

Tallpaw dipped his head, and as the leader and deputy padded away, he snorted. "Great StarClan. You need your uncle to fight your battles for you... Why did I ever hang out with you?" He growled and padded towards Swiftclaw, leaving camp with Firesting blinking after them.

Smokekit bristled. Okay, she conceded, say that all you want. But... She watched him leave, do not bring my kin into this fight.

That night, she watched as Soulheart scolded Tallpaw for getting in trouble. A mischievous smile couldn't help but grow on her muzzle as she watched. Soulheart demanded for Tallpaw to apologize to Smokekit and Buzzardstar, but the mouse-brain was claiming he already had. Her gaze flitted to Mousepaw who was talking to Lunarkit. He was still smaller than them, he'd only been an apprentice for a few sunrises. As Smokekit turned back to Soulheart and Tallpaw, a pang of sympathy flooded her. Why did he feel bad for him!? He's a foxheart! I called him a fish-brain!

But her insides didn't stop flowing with sympathy as she watched the apprentice being scolded.
