Queen and King Lunalight were watching their world closing up. It was their time to leave the world.
"What will she do alone, Arnold?" The Queen said.
"Surely someone will take her up as their own. She is only 3, and she has learned so much already. Maybe it's time for us to let her have her own life outside the palace walls. But one day... she will be back for her duties.
The Queen bent down to her child, and patted her on the cheek.
"Stay well my child, stay well."
The 3 year old could only stare at the scene. And the King and Queen walked into the fire.
"Mama?" Said the baby...
... And they were gone.
