The day went on normally for our MC, Andrew Scymen. Getting up for school, breakfast, being late for the bus, walk to school because he didn't get to ride on the bus, trip and drop all his books, boring lessons he failed to keep up with, going home and do nothing; this was a normal day in Andrew's life.
Repeatedly doing the same thing over and over again is straight up boring. It's like being stuck in a loop hole you can't escape.
Andrew stared up to his ceiling. 'Sigh, sigh, sigh. There has got to be more in life than this', Andrew thought.
The Internet stays the same; memes, vines, gaming, beauty tricks, life stories, etc. There's literally nothing that could get his heart racing like it used to when he was a kid.
After staring up at his ceiling for god knows how long, Andrew drifted of to sleep.
9.30 p.m was the time our bored MC woke up. Blinking his eyes a bit, he stood up and took a shower.
As he stripped his clothes off in the bathroom, he stared at the scars and bruises on his body. He wasn't ashamed of them. In fact, he took it as a momento of the days he managed to stay alive and stay sane.
Andrew wasn't the kind of victim that was weak, frail and full of fear- Andrew was the kind of person to stand up for himself....
Not physically tho. He would report it to the principal, teachers, the authorities. There was a wall that he kept that shows the amount of bullies that has been successfully punished using this method of self defence.
There were non. No pictures. The wall was empty. As empty as Andrew's respect to the authorities.
Andrew took a shower and used his dear sister's favourite soap. What? Who says a man can't like the smell of banana and strawberries on him?
He got out, put a black t-shirt on with a pair of boxers and walked down stairs.
There he saw his dearest, sweetest and most beloved sister, Lilybeth making out with her boyfriend Adam.
The first word to come to mind when Andrew saw them giving each other wet and sloppy kissed was "Gross".
Ouh crap. He accidentally let that word slip from his mouth.
Lilibeth looked up and noticed her brother watching Adam and her making out from the stairs.
"Fu*k off, loser!" Beth shouted at her brother. Adam gave a glare towards Andrew.
Being as empty as he was, Andrew shrugged and walked down and into the kitchen. He grabbed a plate of lasagne from the fridge and heated it up.
It was normal for Andrew to eat alone slightly late considering he usually sleeps for a long time after school.
He took a seat at the kitchen island and ate his food while scrolling through reddit.
It maybe boring but he just wanted to fill his empty mind with something that could potentially peak his interest.
"cat memes, old shaggy memes, thicc thanos memes, legless memes" Andrew mumbled out the things he's was seeing on this phone screen.
He gave up looking on reddit and moved on to a site that was interesting to him, 4Chan.
*angelic voice queAh yes, the home to werid stuff, porn, and furries. This is the place where our MC hangs out if he's on the Internet.
Looking past all the jokes, memes and porn aside, Andrew saw something.
A thread about a suicide game. Now, Andrew Scymen isn't depressed nor is he suicidal. He was just bored of the life he's living and fed up of being bullied.
It isn't unusual to find these kinds of threads on sites like 4Chan but it's not like you see it everyday.
Andrew may think that challange videos on YouTube were uninteresting but it makes his heart race when done himself.
Andrew clicked on the thread and saw a link. Pressing the link would bring him to the lobby of the suicide game. Pressing the link would show him an option to live a life on the edge...
Andrew was tempted by the idea.
"ANDREW!!! CAN YER ER' ME?!?", a shaky but loud voice called out to him. It was his nana.
Andrew and Lilybeth's parents were always away, they barely even met their parents.
Andrew just assumed that his parents wanted a life together and no child to interfere with their relationship. But meh, it's just a theory. A relationship theory.
Nana looked after Andrew and his sister since they were babies. Heck, Nana could even be their mom.
Even if their parents were barely there in their lives, their parents still show that they live their cute, cubby and beloved kids by sending them money every month and sending Christmas gifts every year (even though the gifts were kid toys).
Anyway, Andrew shouted back at his nana sounding annoyed "I'M HERE NANA"
"JESUS CHRIST. HAVE YER' SEEN THAT SISTER OF YOU'RES SUCKING A MAN'S FACE OFF?!"
"I CAN HEAR YOU, NANA" Beth shouted.
"THEN YER SHOULD KNOW BETTER THAN STAY ERE' AND MAKING MEH SEE YER DOING SCABBA DOOIES WITH THAT BOY OF YOU'RES"
Lilybeth blushed and stomped out the door, not forgetting to pull Adam out with her.
"Now, Andrew" nana said in a more quiet tone "I forgot what I came here to tell you"
Andrew looked at his nana with an unamused face. As much as he lives his nana, he can't help but think she's gone senile. I mean, she was 81 years old.
Andrew threw his empty plate into the sink to wash later and guided his nana back into her bedroom.
"Nana , you should rest. Your body can't stand you moving around too much", Andrew told his nana.
"I am as fit and strong as Dwane Johnson. NOTHING CAN STOP MEE"
'This woman has definitely gone insane' Andrew thought.
He tucked her in bed and wished her goodnight, just like what she always done for him as a kid.
Andrew stepped out of the room, shutting the door behind him.
Andrew wanted to continue where he left off.
He pressed the power button on his phone but it was dead. Damn. He forgot to charge his phone before bed.
He decided to complete his homework while waiting for his phone to charge. There were stacks and piles of uncompleted homework needed to be done.
As much as Andrew tried to focus on his history essay, he just can't concentrate due to the thought of a suicide game; that or the loud ass party going on in his neighbourhood.
Two out of 6 essays has been completed within the span of 1 hour.
Andrew decided to call quits and got ready for bed.
He looks out the window beside his bed and wondered if life could get better, more exciting and thrilling.
As he hopes for a better tomorrow, Andrew fell into deep slumber.
