Vladè and Jace: adventures in Serbia 2

Cooking with Nikola Jokic

6:30am,

Vladè is watching Spongebob once again as you can tell Nikola would always notice his mini Nikola watching his favorite cartoon in the living room while Jace is still sleeping beside Jamal Murray and Gabo Cici upstairs in the bedroom.

Nikola Jokić: Ponovo se probudite, a? (Awake again huh, Vladè?)

Vladè: Tata, smiri se. Znate da sam rana ptica bez ikakvog razloga. (Dad, give me a break. You know I'm an early bird for no reason at all.)

Nikola Jokić: Ok, shvaćam. Tada ste rana ptica. (Okay, I get it. You're an early bird then.)

Vladè realized that when he wakes up at 6:30am, he would go to the living room to watch spongebob until his father noticed what he was doing.

Nikola Jokić: Pa, šta sam ti rekao da ideš u krevet na vreme? (Well, what did I tell you about going to bed on time?)

Vladè: Tata ozbiljno? Moram li da odgovorim na vaša pitanja? (Dad Seriously? Do I have to answer your questions?)

Nikola Jokić: Pa da, jer mi je Jamal rekao da treba da odeš u krevet na vreme, jer se sećam da si išao u kuhinju i čuo sam nešto. Ispada da ste to bili vi. (Well yes because Jamal had told me that you were supposed to go to bed on time because I remember you were going to the kitchen and I heard something. It turns out it was you.)

Vladè: Tata, znaš da sam bila žedna, pa sam ustala i otišla u kuhinju po čašu mleka. (Dad, you know I was thirsty, so I got up, went to the kitchen to get a glass of milk.)

Nikola Jokić: Pa, mogao si me pitati da vam donesem čašu mleka. U stvari, trebali ste biti u krevetu u 22:30. (Well you could've asked me so that I can get a glass of milk for you. In fact, you were supposed to be on bed at 10:30pm.)

Vladè: Ok izvini zbog tog oca. (Okay Sorry about that Dad.)

Damn! Tbh, Nikola Jokic is very strict with Vlade's bedtime schedule stuff sometimes because he stays up at 11:00pm to play on the Nintendo switch and then getting a glass of milk in the middle of the night. Although, he decided to do some cooking and Nikola will teach him how to cook breakfast for his pregnant Canadian girlfriend, Jamal Murray. Jamal is still asleep as Jace goes to the room to wake his mom up.

Jace: Mama wake up. Mama wake up.

Jamal stretches his arms out and said. "Give me one moment Jace," "Okay Mama," Jace went downstairs and watched his older brother while taking care of his baby brother Gabo. Gabo hasn't learned how to walk yet, but Jace will soon do so.

Jace: Tata? (Dad?)

Nikola Jokić: Da Jace? (Yes Jace?)

Jace: Mogu li naučiti Gaboa kako hodati okolo? (Can I teach Gabo how to walk around?)

Nikola Jokić: Kasnije kada se Jamal probudi. (Later when Jamal wakes up.)

Jace: Ok tata. (Okay Dad)

Jace: Come here Ading Gabo, let's go watch TV.

Gabo and Jace were watching Puppy Dog Pals but, it ended up in a Serbian Language because they never had english cable in Serbia, but it shows also in Kitchener Canada. Alto would come by and spend the night since his relatives are going to Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina for the 2 week vacation. Alto still lives with his uncle because his parents died when he was young so Alto decided that Jamal and Nikola would become his legal guardian, so was his uncle and Aunt. Next, Vlade was taught by Nikola about making pancakes with granola bars and fruit for breakfast and Nikola had told Vlade to not add too much excessive cooking oil.

Nikola Jokić: Ako dodate previše ulja, biće previše masno i neće biti dobro, Vlade. (If you add too much oil, it's going to be too greasy and it will not be good, Vlade.)

Vladè: Tacno tata. (Correct Dad.)

30 minutes later,

Nikola and Vlade both made pancakes with granola bars around it for breakfast and plus, Jamal Murray would love making some. Jamal goes downstairs to taste it. "Babe, I don't know what to say," Jamal teared up. "This is delicious babe. I always eat that when I was a child, My mother made this for me," "Glad you loved it babe," Nikola smiled. "Anyways Vlade and I were learning this recipe together,"

"That's good," Vlade was proud knowing that he was cooking with Nikola Jokić and learned something new. Who knows if Vlade would be just like Nikola and he will marry someone that would be in Jamal's type. Next, Branislav comes by to smell the cooking and he was excited to try some of the pancake that he and Vlade cooked.

Branislav Jokić: Vlade, jesi li to napravio? (Vladè, Did you make those?)

Vladè: Da, deda, jesam. Uz pomoć tate. (Yes Grandpa, I did. With the help from Dad.)

Branislav Jokić: Slatko! Možda bi trebalo da mi pomogneš oko kuhinje, da? (Sweet! Maybe you should help me out around the kitchen, aye?)

Nikola Jokić: Tata, stvarno? (Dad, really?)

Branislav Jokić: Da Nikola, znaš da je Vlade baš poput tebe. (Yes Nikola, You know Vlade is just like you.)

Nikola Jokić: Da, ali sigurno. (Yeah right, But haha sure.)

Branislav Jokić: Avesome!

Jace: Mama, Can we teach Gabo how to walk?

Jamal Murray: Sure. Yet, Branislav is here anyway.

Jace: Okay Mama.

Jace and Jamal taught Gabo how to walk and plus, it was a first try, but sometimes he could trip over Nikola's shoes that he wore while playing for the Serbia men's national basketball team and Nikola's canadian girlfriend Jamal plays for Canada Men's national basketball team as well. Thus, Vlade and his siblings would love watching the game. After Nikola heads home from the game, the next day is that they're going on a movie night.
