Hello once again, my little titans! (Can I call you that? Yep, I'm calling you guys that.) Welcome to chapter two! Enjoy!

It's been a few months since the attack in Shiganshina. It's really cold here in Stohess, and food is scarce since the refugees moved in. I've seen some fights over food, and some weren't pretty. I was hanging out with my brother Ethan and his new friend Ivan when I heard shouts coming from a few yards away. The older boys disregarded it, but I was curious. I turned to look in the direction of the commotion.

In an alleyway, a small group of boys, a few years older than me, surrounded around something. They looked like they were watching a fight. Intrigued, I walked over to watch. I peeked through an opening. The only thing I saw was a small, long-legged girl, crouched with a split lip. And... A boy the same age as the ones around me, smirking. I knew I couldn't fend for the girl, so I hurried off towards my brother.

"Ethan, I need help," I said, tugging on his sleeve.

        "With what?" He asked.

"There's a girl getting beat up over there," I explained urgently.

"What does she look like?" Ivan asked, worried. "Did you hear her name?"

"She's about my age, and she's got real long legs and dark hair with a white streak down the front," I said, pointing.

"Sona," he breathed, and ran towards the fight.

We ran towards the boys and the girl, shouting.

        "Leave her alone!" Ivan yelled.

The boy in the middle turned around. He forgot about the girl and walked up to Ivan.

"What makes you think you can interrupt me?" The boy demanded.

Ivan grabbed the boy by the collar and shoved him against the brick wall. He held him off of the ground, so that they were eye level.

"That's my little sister," Ivan growled. "She walked in a week before the Colossal destroyed Wall Maria with a black eye and a bloody nose."

The boy's eyes filled with mock confusion.

"Was that you who did that?" He asked, his voice low. The boy didn't respond.

Ivan turned his head to face his younger sister. "Sona, was this him?"

        She hestitated before nodding.

"Sonaki says you're the kid who beat her up. This true?" He said. Again, the boy said nothing. "Answer me!"

Ivan held the boy by one arm. I guess he was stronger than he looked. His free arm went behind him, his hand curled into a fist. He swung at the boy, but stopped an inch away from the boy's face when his sister interrupted him.

"Ivan, don't sink to their level," she said. "Please."

He paused, thinking. He set the boy down, but still loomed over him. He gave the boy a glare like death. Talk about 'if looks could kill'.

"If I catch you, I mean any of you, hitting her or any other kid that you know is weaker than you, you'll have to answer to me," he stated. "Leave. Her. Alone. Now get out of here."

The small crowd hurried off. Ivan, Ethan, and I rushed to the small girl. She sat back on her heels, a hand pressing her side in pain. She looked up at Ivan, her eyes brimming with tears.
