Chapter 1 - Detention

Oliver fidgeted in his seat. He was in detention for not finishing his math questions, but he really couldn't do them. Math was the reason he was at this boarding school in the first place. Even with all the pressure for him to do well at the new, stricter school, he still couldn't sit still. Currently however, his ADHD wasn't the only thing that prevented him from sitting still. He desperately needed to pee. His school uniform was a little too tight around the bladder, which wasn't helping the situation. The other thing not helping the situation was all the sparkling water he'd drank throughout the day. He was starting to wish that his new school didn't have unlimited flavours and cans of it for free. Oliver started to fidget a bit more, knowing his teachers would just chalk it up to ADHD. What he didn't count on though, was Sam, his slightly maybe a little bit crush who was unfortunately straight and also sitting next to him in detention.

"You okay buddy?" Sam whispered to the fidgety mess sitting next to him. Oliver started to nod, but then shook his head knowing Sam would find out his predicament soon enough.

"No? What's wrong? If you need help with your math, I can try," Sam said.

"It's not my math," Oliver groaned.

"Then what is it? I've been watching you enough to know that this isn't ADHD squirming."

"You've been watching me?" Oliver asking, letting his flirty side show. Sam turned bright red.

"Well-I-I-n-no not like that," Sam sputtered.

"Like what then?" Oliver asked hopefully.

"I sit beside you in detention all the time. I'm just used to the way your knee bangs against mine while I actually try to make use of my time," Sam said very seriously.

"I- oh," Oliver said somewhat dejectedly.

"Anyway, what's wrong?"

This brought Oliver's mind back to the current problem at hand.

"Right, I uhhh," Oliver figured Sam would find out sooner or later, so he might as well go ahead and say it. "I've just gotta pee really really really bad and I asked when I came in but Ms. Gold obviously said no and if I asked again I'd have to stay for another half hour."

"Damn that's harsh," stated Sam. "Can you hold it?"

"Well unfortunately I don't see another way out of this situation." Oliver said, hoping it sounded joking and that Sam wouldn't pick up on the strain in his voice.

"I've got my fingers crossed for you," Sam said with a cute smile.

"Thanks," said Oliver, with another thigh squeeze. How could there still be 50 minutes left? He hated detention, but somehow he still managed to be sitting in it at least once a week. Fortunately, Sam also managed to be sitting in it at least once a week, and there was only the amount of desks in the room for the amount of students in the room. Oliver turned back to his math questions that still didn't make sense. He struggled his way through one, but when he checked the answer key it was completely wrong. He sighed, and wondered what he had ever done to the math gods. And also the bladder gods. That returned his attention to the more pressing problem. Oliver groaned, which turned Sam's attention to him.

"Still hanging in there?" Sam asked. "You've only got 45 minutes left, I know you can make it."

"45 minutes??" Oliver gasped. "And the bathrooms will be locked by the time we're done so I'll have to make it through the bus ride too!"

"Crap," said Sam. "Don't worry, my parents are out of town so I have to take the bus today too! I'll be with you the whole time."

While Sam might've thought this would help Oliver, it actually caused the latter to panic more. There was no way he could make it home, and having an accident in front of his crush would be the second worst thing to ever happen to him, the worst being ADHD. Suddenly Ms. Gold looked up from her computer with an idea. "Would you boys like me to put on some calming music for the last 40 minutes?" she asked. Thinking it would help distract him from his bladder and help him focus on math, Oliver quickly agreed. This turned out to be one of the worst decisions of his life, because what Ms. Gold turned on was not music. It was a waterfall video, that she just had to put on the smartboard as well. Oliver grabbed his crotch as a sudden wave of desperation hit him. This action did not go unnoticed by Sam, who was starting to get really worried that his friend wouldn't make it home.

"Shit, Ol, are you gonna make it home?" Sam wondered out loud. Oliver gritted his teeth and shook his head. When he answered it was so quiet Sam had to lean in to hear him.

"I don't think so, Sam. I'm scared. I'm gonna piss my pants like a freaking toddler. Ohhh my god I can't say that word ohhhh Sam help please! Sorry I'm acting like a kid, sorry just ignore me I-" Sam cut him off before Oliver rambled for the rest of the class.

"It's ok buddy, calm down. Panicking won't help. You're gonna make it." Sam put one hand on Oliver's shoulder and the other hand on his knee, and continued to speak calmingly. Surprisingly, it stopped Oliver's shaking. Unfortunately for Oliver, he found another problem arising that comes along with your crush whispering in your ear and putting their hand on your knee. He knew Sam would figure it out soon enough, and to stop it from becoming any worse, he said

"Sam, uhhhh this is kinda awkward, but please don't move your hand any farther up my leg." Sam quickly realized the problem, but then remembered that can help a guy hold it.

"Hey Ol? Don't freak out or anything but that can help you hold it better. I'm gonna do something and if you get uncomfortable just tell me to stop and I will. Ok?" Since he didn't really have another good option, Oliver nodded. Sam slowly began moving his hand up Oliver's leg, until he reached his friend's crotch.

"Still ok?" He asked, not wanting to do anything Oliver was uncomfortable with but also wanting to help as much as he could.

"Better than ok," Oliver answered. Sam stifled a laugh. Oliver was probably the gayest person he knew, and definitely one of the funniest. Also the cutest, nicest, and- ok maybe Sam wasn't quite as straight as people thought he was. But he'd seen the crap Oliver had gotten for it, and if the happiest guy he'd ever seen lost his bounce for a minute, there's no way Sam could ever tell people. Sam starting moving his hand, turning Oliver on even more, until the problem was as problematic as ever, and there was no hiding it. Sam started to move his hand away, but before he got it all the way back to his desk, Oliver grabbed it. Sam finally looked at his face, and realized Oliver was blushing furiously.

"Um, I, uh, you, ah, sorry it came to that, but thanks I guess," Oliver mumbled.

"It definitely wasn't a problem," Sam whispered back, hoping that his friend would pick up on the little bit of flirting. Oliver's eyes went wide. Did Sam actually mean it like that? No way, he thought. Don't get your hopes up, Sam is just about as straight as they come. But that tone in his voice, Oliver hoped it was something more. He also hoped he didn't screw everything up with his pee dance, and the possibility of pissing himself.

First story I've ever published! Please comment with ideas for a new title, or if you like the current one. Also, I was thinking of casting Jeremy Irvine with long hair as Sam? He is what I pictured Sam to look like, and he also plays young Sam in Mamma Mia 2 which I think means it is fate for him to be Sam in this story.  If you have other ideas please share!
