I wake up to an alarm blasting in my ear. Groaning, I get up and turn off my alarm. Who keeps turning on that thing?! I thought to myself. I then hear a crash coming from downstairs.
"GENE! YOU SPLIT THE FUCKING WATER!"
Again? Why do they always have to argue. Ugh. I get dressed in my casual outfit and head downstairs to my two best friends since Highschool, Gene and Sasha. They were in the kitchen and there was a mess on the floor. Looked like someone split water. I sigh.
"Oh, hey Zeni." Gene smiled at me. I blushed a bit. "What did I say about that nickname, hm?" I reply.
"Not to use it.."
"And what did you do?"
"Use it." He rolled his eyes. I sigh once again.
"Clean this shit up. I swear to Irene, you both are children." Sasha rolled her eyes at me. "It was his fault." She stated. Gene gasped, "Nuh-uh! I told you that I would spill it, but you make me carry it anyways!" I sigh again. For the millionth time. I walk out of the house as I hear Gene calling for me. I ignore him and keep walking. I swear, I can't handle those two. Yeah, I argue a lot, too. But they're way worse.
After about 10 minutes of walking, I hear fast footsteps from behind me. Before I could turn around, I feel someone wrap their arms around me from behind. I freak out. "Let me go! Who are you?!" I shouted.
"Wow. Forgot about me?"
That voice.. I know that voice! They step back and I turn around. I knew it. It was the one and only.., "ALEX!" I jump at him, him catching me in his arms. ( Incase you're confused, which you probably are. This is kinda like an AU, Alex is an OC of mine. Him and Zenix are childhood friends and haven't seen each other since middle school. ) He laughs. "Missed you too, shortie."
"I'm not that short.."
"Dude, you're one inch."
"You wish I was, so you could just put me in your pocket and torture me like old times."
"Shhh~."
I laugh. Damn. I haven't seen Alex in years.. I really missed him. Me and him keep hugging. Is it weird I kinda like his hugs? Hm.. nah.
Gene
I search and search for Zenix. He just randomly walked out and it made me upset. I was going to ask if he wanted to hang out. Truth is.. I really like Zenix. He acts all angry all the time but he's a really sweet guy when you get to know him. I turn a corner and see Zenix. No. My Zenix in some dudes arms. I cough and Zenix quickly escaped the man's arms, looking at me. "Oh.. hey Gene.." He laughed nervously. The dude and me make eye-contact. I glare him down and he just grins before looking at Zenix. "Eh, your boyfriend, Zen?" Zenix's eyes wide and... he.. blushes..?! He looks at the dude and screams, "ALEX! NO! HE'S JUST A REALLY CLOSE FRIEND AND- ughhahhh!" He covers his face with his hands. So cute. I thought. The dude so-called Alex laughed and said, "Good~ That means you're up for grabs..~" He gets closer to Zenix and...
