Staring at the wooden face sculpture of my dad ,Peter Amokachi ,the story of my father's life ,achievements ,and more especially his death played in my head.
My dad was a journalist ,he was the C.E.O of Imprint Media ,a newspaper and radio broadcasting organization. He was the government's biggest nightmare.
My dad was the most wanted journalist in the country for what reason? He exposed the government's illegal activities and criticized the government on a daily basis. Our lives were in danger because of the truth and we didn't have the normal Nigerian family lifestyle because my dad was fond of telling the truth.
Learning from my dad ,I've grown to tell the truth and I could perish for the truth.
