Innocence is the freedom from guilt or sin through being unacquainted with pure evil.
But the very moment whether you choose to loose your innocence to your own accord or was it taken to you by force, you can never get it back.
The innocence of a child-like belief in the inherent happiness and goodness of life itself is unfortunately shattered by the very experience that makes the child personally aware of the darkness of this land.
Whatever the case, such simple experience may be enough to destroy a child, twisting that young mind and turning that once innocent cheerful youth into something dark and terrifying.
That may probably have been one of the many reasons why there are far too many demons in this cursed world.
