Another morning, another chaotic day.
It was already dawn as the dimly lit bedroom was given light from the sunshine that lightly peeked through the curtains of the window. The strong smell of freshly brewed coffee and his usual breakfast of hash browns and eggs waft through the air, slightly passing through the small space of his door. Although morning and breakfast was the last thing on Henry's mind.
Why? Well, today marks the day he'll be dragged back to the hellhole that he calls Senior High. He heard his door creak open then promptly close as the room temperature suddenly dropped. He could feel his companion's disappointed gaze, even if he can't see due to the pillow he buried his face in. He didn't care if him staying in bed was disappointing even.
"Mm duun mwuan niu gu-", was the only thing that could be heard from Henry other than his muffled groans and protests whilst continuing on with covering his face on his pillow, rolling around on his bed for awhile before diving back into the safety of his blankets.
Despite being 17, he was acting like 4 year old going to school for the first time. His companion clicked their tongue. Henry felt a cold pair of hand grab a hold on to his ankles in an attempt to drag him out of his safe haven. He held on to the sheets of his bed for dear life. "Hell no-", he thought to himself as he began screeching "-I am definitely NOT going back there." A sigh can be heard as another tug was made in an inconsequential effort to get him up and running.
"Henry, you need to get back there and prove 'em wrong and show 'em who's boss!", his companion said with a huff, ceaselessly tugging him.
Instead of doing just that, he held on tighter to the sheets and began screeching even louder than before. like letting go of his bed meant his death. After the incident at his school the other day, he was definitely dead set on remaining in the comforts of his home. Even if his home was surrounded by 7 other people who just can't understand that he outright hates it there at school where there were a lot, and he emphasizes, 'A lot of assholes who seem to think they're quite the best when in fact they can't even tell the difference between quite and quiet.'
"To heck with that Rye! After what happened, I will not...I repeat...will NOT go through with the aftermath of the incident." Henry felt the ceaseless tug of war between him and Rye has finally come to a halt, he let out a sigh of relief. Only to realize that Rye has something up his sleeves... Oh boy. Henry prepared himself for the incoming onslaught, he ducked his entire body into his blankets and pillows.
"HEY GUYS CAN YOU HELP ME OUT HERE, HENRY'S BEING A CHILD AGAIN!-"
...
His creaky grey painted spruce door went from closed to completely wrecked in a matter of seconds. "Note to self-", he thought whilst peeking from his pillows and looking at the door with a vexed stare, letting out a deep sigh, "-Get myself a sturdier door next time". 2 more individuals enter the scene as he silently wished that he'd vanish right there and then at that exact moment so he can just escape the situation at hand. Good thing he bundled up in his blankets since he could feel the frigid temperature of his bedroom get slightly colder than before.
He felt one of the three rush to his side and, quite literally, threw off of his bed. Pillows, blankets and a ghastly pale & wide-eyed Henry flew towards the wall of his small bedroom. He crashed into his cabinet and lands on the floor, sitting up and rubbing his back and head he gave a big "WHAT THE HECK-".
Raph was the on responsible for yeeting him out of his bed.
Of course.
He was towering over Henry standing 5'10, fit and strong enough to beat him up if he wanted to, was glaring at him with his dark maroon eyes. Man, if looks could kill...He would finally disappear from the situation at present. Raph walked towards the only window in his room and in a flash, opens up the curtains...Much to Henry's discomfort.
"My EYES-", he blinks his eyes rapidly as he tries to adjust to the sudden shift in his room's brightness.
Raph returns right next to where Henry crashed and fell, he reached out for the item on top of his drawers, it was his Bifocal reading glasses. He then promptly shoved it at his chest, he stared at it before remembering why everything seemed so blurry. Right, he had myopia.
"Get up, we have some people to beat up. Especially since they're being a bunch of little shits thinking they can get away with doing that to you", Raph said with his gruff voice whilst giving a scowl that could make an angry pit bull look like a newborn puppy. Henry puts on his glasses as he pouts at the three people in front of him. The only gal of the three in front of him at the moment went up to him, looking like she's also ready to scold him too.
"You should eat, now. You will not waste my cooking by hiding away in your room and besides Rye is right you know" Julia said exasperatedly as she was pulling Henry up his feet, dusting of the non-existent dust off his pajamas. She sighs and look at the clock right on top of his bed, "You should hurry along, It's already 6:20am and you know your classes start at 7:20am."
"No! I just... fine, I'll go eat my breakfast", he sighed as he combed his messy bed hair into order, resigning to the fact that he ain't escaping his classes today.
"No thanks to those three..." he grumbled under his breath as he headed down to their dining area as he spotted Tristan's brown hair peeking through the side of couch right by their living room, he seems to be watching TV or maybe he's staring at the ceiling while leaving the TV on for background sound...He wasn't quite sure which of the two.
He stared at the hash brown and eggs with his side of creamy white coffee as he sat down. If he was asked about the individuals around his house or about his situation really, he would either have to say "It's complicated" or tell the whole story. Well, to understand it all up until that point. Let me show you what has happened the past few weeks.
