Confessions

It was the summer of 2016 when Jeon Jungkook, an average 18 year old finally drew a conclusion that he was queer.
After months of debating  within himself he now completely admitted to the fact that he was attracted to guys, all because of the new transfer student, Kim Taehyung.
The guy had caught Kook's eyes the moment he made an entrance and made the oh so boring history class worth attending. Now the only thing on his way was to confess his love to the blonde.
Taehyung and Jungkook became friends in no time,  they loved spending time with each other and even begged their teachers to make them partners in every project, and all the was enough for Taehyung to come out to Jungkook,  yes,  the guy had already admitted that he was gay and Jungkook felt honored that Taehyung trusted him with this information.
Jungkook,  since that day had started to question his feelings for Taehyung and now here he was sitting with his favourite hyung debating on his decision again and again of finally confessing to Tae.
"Namjoon hyung I still don't think he likes me back,  I don't know why you all think he has a crush on me. " the raven head debated for the nth time.
"Kook I really don't want to talk about it all over again,  the guy is whipped for you and you for him, I don't know are you blind or something that you can't see it."
"Hyung its just... I don't want to loose such an amazing friend beacuse of these not so platonic feelings for him,  what if he freaks out or something."
Jungkook sighed.
"Look Jungkook, this is Taehyung we're talking about alright, you've got to tell him, what if a great relationship is waiting ahead of you but you're just missing out on it because of your fear. Just go for it Kook. " the elder explained patting Jungkook's back and left for his class.

"I think I should really do it."
With that Jungkook at last made a decision,  he will confess his feelings for Kim Taehyung tomorrow.

The next day

As brave as the raven head sounded yesterday,  he was yet again thinking of chickening out when Tae greeted him this morning.
"Kook have I done something wrong?  Why aren't you nice to me these days, you're always avoiding me and you don't even sit on lunch with me anymore, I don't want to loose you please tell me what it is."
Jungkook cursed himself as soon as he met Taehyung's eyes, the elder was on the verge of tears, "No Tae you're not gonna loose me..um.. Why don't we go to our usual spot,  I promise I'll tell you everything, Jus-st. ..come with me.. I guess."
The elder sighed softly and walked towards the terrace of their university, his and kook's favourite spot.

"So um.. Tae I just... Do you have like a crush on someone? " the younger stuttered out,  they were sitting with their backs pressed against the terrace wall. The sun already up on the clear blue sky.
"Why are you asking this all if a sudden , anyways, I do have a crush on someone but I think that dumb idiot has no clue about it". Taehyung said casually but that was all it took for Jungkook's heart of break.
"Oh.. I see,  what an idiot to not notice."
Jungkook's face looked like a kid who's mother just snatched his favourite toy from him and Taehyung internally cooed at the younger's pout. Of course he knew the younger liked him,  he could see the spark in Jungkook's eyes whenever they were together.
"Ohh yes Kookie,  he is an idiot to not notice how I can spend hours talking to him,  how my cheeks form a rosy tint when he's around, how the world stops mattering for me when he enters the room. But don't worry bub, I'll confess to him very soon because I don't think he has the balls to ask me out. "
Jungkook was soo into Tae's eyes when he spoke but everything came crashing down to reality when the elder stopped talking because all these beautifully framed words were not for him.
"O-oh that's.... Cool I guess. G-good luck with that Tae. " Jungkook gave him a fake smile. Taehyung then got up and pecked the younger's cheek and started walking towards the exit.
Just as he was about to leave the raven head asked, "When will you confess to him? "
Taehyung turned around with an adorable smile dominating his face,
"Oh, I just did kookie. " with that he ran out of the door without seeing Jungkook's flabbergasted expression.
