Chapter 1: The Accident
"This could be the end of everything. So why dont we go, somewhere only we know." I finish the last verse of 'Somewhere Only We Know' by Keane when I realized that my head phones in. I pulled them out and looked up to the front of the car, seeing my mum turned around and Dad was staring at me through the mirror.
"Its official, Charlotte. We are putting you in singing lessons. More like a singing-" he was interupted by my mum screaming at my dad.
"Danny, look out!" my mum threw herself at the wheel trying to turn the wheel. I got a quick glance at what Mum was steering from.
She was trying to avoid us going head first into a large twelve-wheeler.
We didnt.
We smashed head first into the truck. Mum and Dad's airbags came out in a pop. I felt my head crash into the back of Dad's seat.
"Mum... Dad..." I moan. My eyes flutter shut.
Is this the end for me?
