Chapter 3
We landed safely in Thailand. Ever since I’ve decided to make a move I never stop thinking on how to approach her, As I’m looking at her I know she’s the type of girl who is hard to approach but really warm hearted.

I haven’t introduce myself properly. My name is Son Chaeyoung. I’m the first born son of the popular Aeronautical Tycon Son Taecyon. My Dad owns the company, our line of business is build and sell airplanes. My dad is such a CONTROL FREAK!  He want his hand on everything, meaning he is the start and end point of things. Growing up my life is already planned out, I hated that but I honestly can’t do anything about it. When I was in High school he sent me to US just so I can learn to the language and also be independent. That’s when I decided to be rebellious. When I was alone in U.S I’ve come to realize that the life planned out for me is not what I want, I started plotting a way out. I know that I can’t fight my family specially my father straight on, so I have to be sneaky. I was always a straight A student,  I was the weird kid that doesn’t need to study but miraculously pass. When I  started studying in US I intentionally kept failing every subjects and just reasoned out that the way of teaching in US and Korea is very different. I always went out on parties just so I can justify my “rebellious” image. When I was in college my dad used his connection to get me in at JYP University, I didn’t even care what and where I would study since I already know what course I was planned to set foot. This is where my plan would start. As I came back to Korea, I made a deal with my dad. If I graduate with honors, I can decide when I can take over the company and he will also give me the freedom to do what I want, he started laughing and said if do he would even let me decide whom I want to marry ( which is a bonus on my side knowing he’s a control freak)

As a son of the business tycoon my identity was kept hidden to the world. The people knows that the Son Aeronautical Corp. has son and a daughter, they only know our names but not how we look, Our faces was never been on public media which I was really thankful. I was able to meet real friends and can freely go out (somehow). My parents way to keep us hidden is that they will say that we are studying abroad (partly true) and they always address us in our english names during their interview, me and my sister can use are real Korean names without a worry since then. The public media knows me as Karlo (I honestly don't care because its only the media who calls me that, I prefer my korean name).

Flashback
I finally graduated college, I finished Aeronautical Engineering - Magna cum laude and I passed the Licensure exam as the Top notcher in Korea.

In celebration of my graduation my dad invited me to the mansion for dinner, which I happily accept. I could use this chance to discuss our deal before I entered college.

As I went in our mansion I was greeted by my dad.

“Honey my Golden Boy is home!” That was my dad
“Hi Dad”
“Welcome home my favorite son”
“Dad I’m your only son”
“Yeah yeah … Smart ass… you think you can convince mom to have another?”
“DAAAAAD!!!”
“you know a spare tire, Just in case you lose your mind”
“You should’ve thought of that earlier when you and mom was still young. Hahaha”
“Whatever, go meet your sister, she’s been expecting you”
“Oh she’s here? I thought she’s in U.S?
“She went home because her only brother just graduated MAGNA-CUMLAUDE and now the Top engineer in korea” dad almost screaming because he was so happy and proud while hugging me.
“yeah, about that, you think we can talk after dinner?”
“Why not now?”

“is that my son?” – whew saved by my lovely mother.

After Dinner Chaeyoung and His dad went in the study room to talk.
“Dad, remember our deal before?”
“about what?”
“About letting me decide when I can take over the company and giving me freedom?”
“I was hoping you forgot about that, son. Chaeyoung, I’m not getting any younger and sooner or later you need to know the in’s and out’s of our company”
“Dad, you promised and the only reason I studied well is because of our deal”
“Okay, a deal is a deal and in our family we honor that, so let me hear your plan my son”
“I want to handle the company at the age of 30 and I also want to travel and explore the world, When I travel I can meet up other engineer and maybe learn from them, that way when I handle the company and be more capable”
“Chaeyoung that’s 6 years too long, you think I’m still alive by that time?”
“Dad, come on. Just give me this and I promise I won’t dissapoint you, Trust me okay?”
“I trust you son, Its just that… haayyss, okay… Just go back home in ONE PIECE, and that’s and order... Now I'm really regretting not having another son."

"I know you love me dad"
"Glad you know kid, Just always call so your mom will be at ease"

"Thanks dad"
