Chapter 31 Swimming with The Mermaids

'It's been three days where is she?' I asked myself as I searched the school for the fairy. 'If anyone hurt her, they're going to die.' I growled in my mind.

"Oh, there you are Eclipse you need to come with me." Said McGonigal.

"I'm busy I need to find the Fairy." I told her.

"Fairy?" Asked McGonigal.

"Yah the little one that sits on my head." I said pointing at the top of my head.

"Sorry but you need to come with me you were able to avoid the ball, but you need to come to the next challenge." She said.

Then it hit me. "Where is she?" I growled.

"Sorry but we need to go." She said dragging me out of Hogwarts and onto a boat.

We sailed out to the middle of the lake where there was a platform where I got out on. I looked to see it crowded with people. Severally of the boys were looking at me and blushing I was confused why they were until I looked down and remembered the hole in the shirt.

"Ah! Why didn't anyone tell me!" I screamed covering up.

"Sorry." They all said.

"Is there anywhere to change?" I asked Miss. McGonigal?

"You're going to need a swimsuit." She told me.

"I can make one quickly, but I need a room." I stated already spinning webs for the suit.

"Over there." She said pointing to what looked like a closet.

"Thank you." I said and went in and quickly made the bikini and put it on.

I admired myself in my new suit. The black suit read highlights on the frills and anywhere where the suit would touch my body. I stepped out and everyone blushed even the teachers. Ignoring them I stepped into the blank space next to Harry.

"Welcome to the second challenge!" Stated Dumbledore. "We have taken someone that is precious to you. They are currently being guarded by the mermaids. Each contestant must make their way to the ruins and grab the one they care for. You will have 30 minutes to complete this task upon the shot of the cannon." As he said that the cannon fired.

Everyone dove in but I sprinted forward on top of the water and used god's eyes to find the ruins. The moment I found them I ran over to them and stopped running and sunk instantly. I made it to the ruins within a minute and found the fairy in a little ball of air as she shied away from the mermaids that came close. When she saw me, she smiled and reached to me. The mermaids were confused until they turned around and came face to face with my glowing red eyes and shadowy face. They quickly screeched and ran away as I pulled the air bubble off the rope and swam up to the surface. I broke the surface and swam to the platform crating a large wave the soaked everyone on the platform. I climbed up to see everyone shocked and soaked.

"Consider this a warning you hurt anyone I care for and you will be getting more than soaked." I hissed and split my jaw scaring several people.

"It looks like we have a winner." Stated Dumbledore as he tried to prevent everybody from shouting.

I quickly popped the bubble freeing the fairy she quickly went to my head and rubbed it telling me she was alright. I calmed down as she rubbed my hair and started braiding it. I started humming Psycho by puddle of mud as she did so. Everyone was dry as soon as Krum had made it back. But when the girl from the female school had to drop out, I was prepared to go get anyone who was left but two of the missing people appeared after Diggory. I was confused but realized Harry saved both of them, but he wasn't coming up. I dove in leaving the fairy on the platform. Using gods' eyes, I saw him being dragged down by some squid like things. I took a deep breath of water and screamed at the top of my lungs. The force of the scream sent ripples that stunned the squids and allowed Harry to move. He quickly swam to the surface and I made sure he made it. I broke the surface of the water and saw everyone on the platform soaked once again including the Fairy.
