The leaves fall from their trees,
Their colors faded and withered.
They crunch under my feet.
This eternal walk ahead of me,
Is tearing me apart.
Piece by piece.

Violent ocean waves advance,
Wetting the nearby sand.
Invading my body, trapping me.
This unbreakable binding to the beach,
Ocean water filling me, oxygen leaving me.
It's tearing me apart.
Piece by piece.

The swift wind picking up pace,
Gathering, swirling, quickening.
Ripping me from the floor,
Gravity devoid.
Flying through the air, surrounded by death.
The immense force tearing me apart.
Piece by piece.

Standing atop the trees, I gaze.
A large mountain begins to fray,
Smoke rising from its blown away top.
Jumping from the tree, I run.
Devoid of hope, I'm consumed.
Fiery ash, melting lava overtake me.
It's tearing me apart.
Piece by piece.

Nobody ever knows me.
Nobody ever gets me.
The pain I suffered,
Still suffer,
Devoid in their minds.

To them, I'm just a random guy,
Wearing a fake smile, they believe it's real. Head high, even though it isn't real.
They'll never understand,
And it's tearing me apart.
Piece by piece.
