Chapter 2

Dear diary,
Witmore high, is the school of my dreams. Not only had I got in but yesterday was my first day of school. Ahh it was everything I wanted it to be, actually it was wayyy better. I made friends with the most popular girl in school, Nina. Oh she's a darling and she's drop dead gorgeous. Katty's social skills really helped start school with a bang! Coming to the boy side, Daniel is his name. I can't stop thinking about him...I had my first dream about him last night. In my dream, we were on the beach just hanging out, feeling the love just the two of us..... Everything was perfect...he was holding me soo close, out body's were literally stuck to each other, he's hands around my waist and mine around his neck. The song 'all of me' by john legend was playing in the background softly, and the sun was just right. As the chorus started to play, he brought his face closer to mine. Yes, we were gonna kiss.....closer and closer and closer......BAM my alarm rung. What the hell!? Why does this always happen?! Anyway Daniel asked me whether I remember him from camp comodian which btw is this really awesome camp that I went for like 4 years ago. There were 120 people who came for that camp, how did he expect me to remember him? it's impossible.

Woahhh that was long, I thought to myself.

--phone rings--

"Skyyy heyy babe" said Katty in that cute voice of hers.

"Hey kitty kat! Waddup girl"

"Babe tonight's sleepover is on right?" She said in a puzzled tone.

"Duh uh, but it's your turn to bring the movie"

" yea yea you chill...now bye see you at school " she said and then soon hung up.

Today was gonna be my second day and I planned to go old schooled ....I wore a white noodle strapped dress with blue polka dots which I had got from forever 21, blue moccasins with a white bow on each of them, white studs in my ears and I tied my hair in a messy high ponytail with my bangs hanging perfectly over my face.

Ohh it was a lovely summer day and Minnesota had never looked more pleasant.I stared outside the window and just admired the scenery and the the music of chirping birds. When suddenly, I heard the loud angry sometimes irrataing voice of my MOTHER. " You stupid girl! It's very late" "stop screaming women" I said in an annoyed voice. Yes I know I should respect, cherish her blah blah but lets face it sometimes mothers do get pissing off. I rolled my eyes and looked at my watch, fuck it was 8:50! Ugh not again! I ran like my life depended on it, grabbed a piece of bread on my out, and kissed my mom goodbye.

Well when I reached Katty's place she told me that Ben was sick so he couldn't drop us and Katty being Katty also didn't wanna come. "Shit!" I said and walked out.

On my way back I saw Daniel ridding in his vintage mustang...that car was hot and with Daniel in it, it looked even hotter. It was weird cause I had never seen him in this neighbourhood before.

He stopped the vehicle and asked me whether I wanted to hitch a ride. I instantly agreed.

As soon as I sat in, Dan in a hushed tone said "you look soo beautiful". I blushed a bit then rolled my eyes and said "thanks dan, but how come your here? "

" oh I stay right across, I shifted like a week back " he said.

Shitttt that's surprising! my crush lived right across my house. Woah life couldn't get any better.

We entered school together and everybody and I mean everybody ( including principal Higgins ) was starring at us. I mean why wouldn't they the most popular guy of school was talking to me... ME!! A stupid ass freshman. If I could, even I would stare at myself. To make it worse Daniel put his arm around my waist pulling me closer.

As soon as we entered I went to my cubby and put my books in. Daniel was standing right next to me and finally ending the awkward silence said "sky, did u solve the mystery?"

"What mystery?" I replied, lifting my brow a bit.

"Camp comodian one!" he said after some time.

"Oh my god!! No!! I thought about it, I sure as hell don't remember you there, I mean how would I, there were like a billion people who came!" I said feeling pathetic.

"Think harder, sexy" he said slightly punching my shoulder and then he left.

I was on my way to class when I heard the voice of Melanie Bostic, the bitchest bitch ever!!

She came up to me with her army of 2 and said " oh look it's Sky Montez" giving me a slight smirk.

I retaliated and said "oh look it's smelly melly" not my best comeback but that's all I could think off. I didn't even realise that Nina was right behind me till she burst out laughing at my snide comment.

"Fuck off Montez! the next time I see you talking to dan.. I'll ruin your life"

Before I could even lift a finger, nina in her pissed tone said " slut, unless you want to see my fist in your mouth I suggest you walk away, and you know what I wouldn't wanna see you cry like you did when you asked Ashton out and he said no .... IN. FRONT. OF. EVERYONE. "

" Umm well you wouldn't want your mother to get an anonymous note telling her about the time when some odd somebody saw you hooking up with Ashton at Sam Hobbers party. I mean that would be horrible. why would anyone do something like that?"
Melanie just giggled and and walked away.

Nina looked a little sad but I told her not to worry, her secret was safe with me. And about Melanie's threat, I couldn't care less... she was just Daniels jealous ex.. yea they dated for like 4 months.

Daniel and I had almost all classes together and umm if I fail this semester it's totally his fault.. I just can't keep my eyes of him, even during classes. We had become lab partners and he sat behind me in every lesson.

In the 5th period which was history, I came across one of the crappiest teachers ever. Paul was an old man who was very paranoid and he couldn't teach for nuts. While we were learning about the second world war, Daniel whispered saying something about this party tomorrow night that he wanted me to come for. When bam...Paul caught us.

"Yes mr. Evans would to like to do something productive with your lips other than talking?" said Paul.

By that time we all had our eyes on Daniel, waiting for his reaction.

"Sure mr. Paul" he said smiling and then out of the blue....... pulled me closer and...

K I S S E D M E . Whatttttttt?!!! Did that just happen?! Like seriously! wow!! it was an amazying kiss. it was just perfect. Nothing freaky just a 2 second peck... which i wish had lasted for 20000 seconds!!

"Detention! Both of you!" Paul yelled
"And Daniel you keep your cheeky attitude to yourself!"

Daniel and I couldn't help but smile and yes, for the first time I was sure that I would be the topic of gossip in school.
Well we both got detention after school.... But it was soo worth it.

We didn't really speak about it, I mean Danny had the reputation of a bad ass flirt and I've seen it, he treats every girl like a princess. I knew we had nothing going on but I still really really liked him.

During the break I told Nina everything and she was soo very happy for me but being my friend she told me that he was a player and I shouldn't get carried away. She was soo right. A while later I saw Daniel smothering another girl behind a cubby. Ouch.

Well that's how another day of school ended. Now all I could think of was my sleepover with Katty and that player!
