unbound

chapter 1

It was a cold winter's morning and in a small house; through the second floor window, a gush of wind enters a room past the waving curtains.

Sitting by a desk was a young girl who was known as Chi Hanaba. She sat there staring at her computer screen then suddenly turned her head towards the clock hanging on her wall  above her bed. Nearly breaking down her bedroom door as she rushed out into the hallway. She jumped up and down on her left leg, pulling up her sock then nearly falls flat on her face as she tried fixing her collar and tie.
The door to the bathroom slides open and she walks up to the sink while muttering to herself "I'm gonna be late, gonna be late!...ah where is it!?" *sighs in relief* she grabs a brush and starts doing her hair all while trying to brush her teeth at the same time.

Her foot slips as she runs down the first few steps on the stairs "who-whoa!..." *balancing on one foot * whew, that was a close one,*leans forward* "huh, ah!!!"*tumbles down the stairs and rolls under the dining room table*
Her mother scurries past lifting her husband's tea cup off of the table just in time to dodge the big bang Chi made when she bumped her head on the bottom of the table. *Chi crawling out from underneath the table rubbing her forehead*. Her mother puts the tea cup back on the table, Mr. Hanaba's arm stretches out from behind his morning paper , lifts the cup around the paper and up to his mouth taking a sip then puts it back on the table. Chi's mother walks up to her with a plate of food *Chi grabs a slice of toast* slips past her mother towards the front door,  she slips into her shoes and grabs her book bag. "Alright mom , dad I'll be heading out know bye" her mother leans out from the kitchen "have a good day honey".

The door slams shut as Chi runs to and out the front gate and turns left down the street. She stopped when she got to a red light at the street crossing. She stood there waiting for a while then looked up at the sky and started drifting off into the clouds. The people around her started to walk, but she remained there. All of a sudden she felt someones hands on her shoulders , pushing her to the other side of the rode.
When she got to the other side she spun around to see who it was that had pushed across the rode . *Chi sighs* "oh it's just you Yamada !?" Yamada gave a soft smile "yes and you should be more careful with where you choose to space out like that" Chi turns away from Yamada and starts walking*turns and faces him* "hey are you coming we're gonna be late?"
