The True Secrets of Marlon

Ericson's Boarding School for Troubled Youth, was a place for young kids who had done things that cost their parents to send them to this place where they have to learn to be responsible. For the remaining students each have a variety of reasons for being sent there including violence, building pipe bombs, and credit card theft. One of the students has a big mystery that many wish their was a answers. When the outbreak begin, all of the teachers and the headmaster fled the school and leave the all students behind. Their was one student who took a stand and became the leader of the group. 13 students and a dog remain alive in the school, their leader keep everyone hiding from any raiders or scavengers that may want to hurt them. This leader of Ericson's named is Marlon, the oldest of all the students and the one who did everything he can to protect his group and by costing him to become, paranoid, indecisive and a coward to the group. But question is, what cost Marlon to become the coward leader?

Here's what to know about Marlon.

Marlon is a student at Ericson's Boarding School, and became the leader when the apocalypse arrived. He became the owner to Rosie the dog, and is best friend to Louis. He also join a sports team at the school.

The only thing we don't is why was he sent to Ericson's.

Before Marlon and the group met Clementine and AJ. Marlon did something that he regret due to his fear. Marlon, Brody, and twin Minerva and Sophie found a group of raiders. where they possibly want to steal or hurt the group. This cost Marlon to trade the twin in order to keep everyone else safe. But what did the raiders were going to do that force Marlon to give 2 of the people?

Here is the answer about why Marlon was sent to Ericson's and why is he afraid about the raiders.

Marlon was child abuse by his parents.

This explains everything about poor Marlon. About who Marlon is, and why is he afraid meeting other people. And why he can't fight back, and why is he couldn't told his friends the truth. When Marlon was maybe 7-8 years ago or younger. His parents never show him love to him, instead to show hate to him. Every time Marlon did something, it cost his parents to punish him and torture him. Leaving him with fear, anger, and paranoid. This is why Marlon can't trust adults anyone. Why he had to stand up to the other kids. But what cost him to end up in Ericson's, you may ask. After his parents punishment, this cost Marlon to be come a bully, that cost him to hurt other people for no reason. By the time he was 11, Marlon may have try to stand up to his parents only to failed by fear of pain. This cost his parents to send him to Ericson's for no reason. When all the adults left the students to died Marlon didn't want to see the kids to end up like what happened to him. So he stood up and give courage they need to survive. When Marlon meet the raiders, he begin seeing flashback of his parents for what they did to him and give him to fear and can't fight back to the groups giving him no choice but to give up 2 of his friends to avoid pain and possibly death.

After everyone found out the truth about what he did. He knew that he can't hide it anyone, and grew guilty and knew he betrayed his group and ask for only one final favour to be a bad memory to everyone. Before Clementine can either let him leave or stay, AJ shoot him in the head with everyone in horror for what AJ had done to him.

In the end, Marlon was finally free from his pain and torture. Marlon believe that Clementine will fix everything to the group and is thankful for her and is not mad that AJ kill him.

"To Brody, Minnie, and everyone in the school. I'm sorry for everything that I have done to you, I never want any of this to happen, I'm not brave, honest, or true to all of you. But you need all to know, please don't make the same mistake I made. If those raiders do come back, I want all of you to fight back. no more running. no more hiding. I need all of you to fight. For our home, for our friends, for our family. Clementine, I know you will fix all of this, I believe in you. they all will. And AJ, I forgive you for killing me, but you should know that was murder, but I still forgive you. I hope you all will live a happy life one day. I'm going to miss all out you. Goodbye everyone"
