I awake to the sound of footsteps approaching my home. I raise my head and perk up my ears trying to listen harder, the steps were louder. I get to my feet arch my back and yawn, then shake myself off and walk into the moonlight. My tan pelt and swirls glistened in the light and my eyes glow like a swirling mist as I open my mouth to taste the air and breath out blue mist. I could smell the moist earth and the intruder lerking around. I've heard various steps before, but these sounded different. I step back into the safety of  my cave and lick the fuzz on my chest. I now hear foot steps inside my cave echoing all around me, like when my mother had sung to me before she died. Sigh, my mother, well lets start with the beginning of my story. Enjoy.

It was a few weeks after I was born, and Har'koa, my brother, was very excited for some reason. "Why are you so happy today Har'Koa?" I asked him. "Because Loquie! We finally get to go outside the cave today!!!" he replied. "Really?!" I asked feeling excited now too. My mother Hail'Aran walked over to us from her side of the den and spoke, "Yes it's true Loquie, you two  are going outside today..." My mother's voice always seemed so soothing to me, and her scent swirls like a mist around me. I could stay with her all day long ♥.  My father Dal'Manar walked into the cave holding two rabbits both by their foot in his mouth, and layed them down on the cold stone floor infront of us. "For my two favorite cubs of course." He said while smiling down at us. We smiled back a dove in, "Thanks dad!" We both said. "Mmmm!" I said as Idove in eatting Har'koa was still eating his, he was eating it gingerly. He then rose his head licking his lips which were now red with the blood of the rabbit. Our mother and father were laying side by side talking together and then noticed we were done. "Well that was quick, you two must of been very hungry!" Our mother said. "How about you go on outside and play now, We'll be in here just don't go too far. And stay in line of the cave!" Dal'Manar had said.

We were outside now, the earth, sun and sky were all new to us. Our jaws dropped at the glorious world, the sun brightened the land with the rays as it shined upon all it faced. The soil still wet with dew glistened and the sky shown of blues but dark. "It's so beautiful!" I said happily. "Yeah, lets go explore!" Har'Koa suggested and agreed. We wonder farther out, farther then what mother and father told us to go. "Woah! Wat's this thing?" Har'koa was standing on a rope thing while he spoke. "I'm not sure it looks like a.. uh .. uhm hmm ....... I don't know." I said shrugging at him, "we shouldn't be   messing with things we don' know are, they could be dangerous." "your right." He replied, "lets go home now im tired." He said yawning. We dashed in the direction we beleived to lead to home and made it to the cave. It was now dark and mother and father sent us  to bed. We layed down side by side and slept. "good night Har'koa! See you in the morning." I said. "night...Zzzz" He replied in a snore. Har'Koa must have been really tired to fall asleep talking.

The next morning we awoke mother nor father were in the cave, t was silent all except for our on breathing patterns. "Mom, Dad?" we called out around the cave, but there was no reply except for the echo. "follow their scent" Har'Koa said. "okay" I replied. and we followed their trail the best we could to find them. Their scent led out of the cave. The day was dim and cold, the moon still shown above head giving just enough light to see. "How is this even day?" I asked Har'koa. "who knows... Maybe it's still night?" He told me. their scent became strong and stronger until the trail stopped. We looked around and saw a hanging net with mom and dad inside. "Loque'Nahak, Har'koa! You shouldn't be here!" Our father said whispering. "But since you are, see that pin down there..? Cut it with your claws, and be quick about it!" "okay dad" I said, and hurried over to do as he said. the net dropped and mom and dad ran out we followed them and dashed home.

When we got back to the den there were traces of human foot-prints all over the ground. "They've been here." Dal'Manar said in a growling tone,"This means we're going to have to find a new home now."  My mother Hail'Aran then spoke in a very light almost depressed way, "Well, Kits, you best be getting your things together." She paused then sighed, " Moss beds and what ever else." "Yes, Mother." Har'koa and I both replied then went off to our beds. I then began to gather my moss bedding and what not. I was frustrated. Why do we have to move if we can just fight them!  A growl began to rumble deep down inside me, and my heart felt as if it were an ice cold peice of stone. I gathered more of my things together. The growl then became a roar and before I knew it, I was roaring loudly, but frustrated. My brother ran over to me skidding his claws on the hard stone floor, then cuffed my ear, "Keep it down! The hunters might hear you!" He hissed while flattening his ears. My father dashed over to us. "What's the matter you two? You should be busy packing!" Our father was angery, very angery. Har'koa decided to speak,  " I was trying to -" I cut him off and began yelling, " Why can't we just fight them off, It's our home we have all the right in the world to stay! We're not Cowards, or atleast i'm not! And I'm not going to leave my home just because of some dumb foot prints or scent trail, You can try all you want. But im not going to budge. Not! One! Inch!"
