Chapter 5: Urge or Stregth?

It's been 2 weeks since Taehyung and Jungkook have started school. Hoseok got together with Lisa and has befriended Jungkook. Jimin and Namjoon are still helping Jungkook with everything, but that urge is getting too strong.

He hasn't killed someone since he arrived in Korea. It's been almost two months since Jungkook's last murder and he needs his taste for blood to be quenched.

He needs his wants to be met at their expectation. He wants his needs to be met at their expectation.

He sits on his bed, rocking back and forth in a ball. He tries to steady his breathing but it's no use. He has to kill.

Something, somebody, someone. Anything, anybody, anyone. He doesn't care, he just needs to feel the satisfaction of someone's life being taken by him.

Jungkook springs up from the bed and hurries out of the house, grabbing a pair of gloves and a hand gun along the way. He locks the front door behind him and pulls his hood over his head.

He hides the gun in his pocket and, without thinking twice, runs far away from his house, looking for a victim.

He slips the gloves on, keeping his head low as he searches for a human to be sacrificed for his betterment.

There.

There are two men beating up some kid around Jungkook's age.
The perfect targets.

Jungkook hides behind a building wall and takes his stance. Ready. He aims for the first man. Aim... FIRE!
BANG!
He re-adjusts his stance position and aims...
BANG!

Sweet victory. Jungkook thinks. He's going to dream about this tonight. And he's going to enjoy dreaming about it.

For some odd reason, Jungkook doesn't want to kill the last person, the victim of the other men. He has this gut feeling he'll regret it, which is strange because he killed his parents and had no regrets. Well, he still had two perfect shots for two perfect victims.

The last person, a boy it seems, looks in Jungkook's direction, but he's already gone. Who saved him from getting severely hurt? He may never know.

_-THE NEXT DAY-_

Taehyung arrives at the spot he and Jungkook meet everyday. Jungkook, A.K.A Joong-Ki, is only a few metres away and catches up with Taehyung quickly.

"Hey, can I tell you something? But, you have to keep it a secret." Taehyung says.

The two have become quite good friends, so they tell each other a lot of things. Jungkook tells Taehyung everything about Joong-Ki, and Taehyung tells him everything about himself.

"Sure. What is it?" Jungkook asks curiously.
"So umm... Last night I was heading home from Hoseok's house and... I came across two guys." Taehyung starts.

Jungkook tilts his head, wondering where this is going.
"Yeah..." He says as a way of telling Taehyung to continue.

"And they started beating me up... Until these two random gunshots came out of nowhere and the two guys are laying on the ground in front of me. Dead. It scared the absolute fuck out of me. But, whoever fired the gunshots saved me from getting really hurt."

Jungkook doesn't need to pretend to look shocked, because he truly is. He saved Taehyung last night? No wonder he didn't want to kill the kid. It was Taehyung!

"That's crazy." Jungkook says, bewildered. Taehyung nods.
"I know. But, you promise not to tell anyone? The police and my Appa are the only other people who know."
"Don't worry. I won't tell anyone." Jungkook says.

He lied though. He's going to tell Jimin and Namjoon. First he's gonna explain why he went out late at night to kill someone, then he can tell his miraculous story.
