"So have you thought of your costume yet buddy?" Tom asked his son through the rear view mirror. "Not yet" Peter said a little sadly. "Don't worry, you'll figure out what you want to be soon" Tom said to him and gave him a smile through the rear view mirror. Tom and Peter reached home after spending a day together playing golf.

You heard the door open as you were washing the dishes. "We're home" Tom shouted as he and Peter walked inside. "Hi my loves" you said as you walked up to Peter and embrace him in a hug. He hugged you back tightly, not wanting to let go of you. "I'm going to bed now" he said tiredly as he rubbed his eyes. "Okay honey, i'll be there to tuck you in a few minutes" you said softly to him as you gave him a smile. He smiled back tiredly and walked upstairs to his room. "Tiring day?" you asked Tom as you walked up to him and wrapped your arms around his neck. "Very tiring day but we missed you" he said to you softly. "I missed you guys more but i'm so glad you two got to spend time with each other" you said softly as you gave him a smile. "Yeah me too" he said as he smiled. You gave Tom a sweet kiss on the lips then pulled away. "Can you finish washing the dishes while i got tuck Peter in?" You asked him. "Yeah of course darling" he said happily to you. You gave him a peck and went upstairs.

"Honey?" You said softly as you knocked on his bedroom door lightly and walked in his room. "Hi mom" he said tiredly as he rubbed his eyes. "Hi honey, already see that you're in bed" you lightly chuckled as you walked closer to him. You pulled the covers up more and tucked it in. "There we go, all tucked in" You said to him as you finished tucking the covers. "Mom?" He softly calls out to you. "Yeah?" you answered back as you sat on his bed. "Why does dad have to leave so much?" he asked as he kept rubbing his eyes from tiredness. "Well your dad is an actor and he mostly has to go to different places and film a movie. He gets to dress up and be different characters" You said to him softly as you smile at him. "That sounds so cool" he said happily and amazed. "It is very cool, it's so cool that you're dad is playing a superhero" you said excitedly as you smiled.

You turned around as you heard a knock at the door to find your husband standing in the doorway. "We're you guys talking about me?" Tom asked with a smile as he walked closer to you two. "Mom was just telling me about your job. Its so cool!" Peter said excitedly to his dad. Tom softly chuckled as he sat beside on Peter's bed. "I'll take you to set one day but you can't tell you friends anything about the movie okay?" Tom said to him. "I won't I promise" Peter said to his dad as he gave him puppy eyes. "All right *softly chuckles*, you have to go to bed now buddy" Tom said to him. Peter nodded and Tom kissed him on the forehead. "Goodnight Pete, we love you" Tom said softly and soothing to his now sleeping son. You kissed his cheek and you and Tom both quietly walked out his room. You slowly closed the door and left it opened a little as you both walked out.
