Chapter 1
The bombing of Lazam
Lazam was a tiny little town in Western Australia which was inhabited by not more than 80 people. It was surrounded by woods from all sides and owls filled the night with hoots. This town had the people who didn't want to socialize and usually kept to themselves. There were no police near Lazam and these woods were a boon for a gang called The Claws. The head of this gang was James Law 'The Claw' and he had a personal grudge against the people of Lazam due to their strange behavior towards them although they were outlaws too they still didn't believe they were 'criminals' although they murdered and slaughtered in the name of the evil. Be it human or animal. This town was the most peculiar one you would find in the whole of the country. The people of this very town believed in the existence of some kind of evil and worshipped it like a God. They believed that someday the evil would strip the planet of existence itself and that if they could keep it happy, it may spare them. They murdered and slaughtered animals in the name of the evil and even the police were afraid of going to this town. Arthur Rutherford was the first of this town who did not believe in evil and as a result, living in Perth.
It was Christmas eve when Arthur had just returned home from somewhere and was opening the front door of his house. He entered the house and sank into his armchair after starting a fire in the fireplace. It was very chilly outside. People were singing Christmas carols outside when suddenly, Arthur came running out of his house. He ran to his car not even closing the door. It was a chilly night and every soul was at home. Once inside his car, he took out his cell phone and called his mother to whom he had secretly given a phone. The phone rang and after a while, there was his mother talking to him "Hello is it you Arth?" Arthur was driving as fast as he could at this time "Hello Mother see this is urgent. I want you to leave the town with everyone else right now."
"But Arthur, why do we have to leave the town? Manny is sleeping right now and you just called."
"See Mother this is urgent and otherwise we are all going to....................."
"Hello, Arthur! Arth! What happened? Why aren't you answering? Oh! This stupid thing Manny, Manny" and then she went to a bedroom in the dark and dingy house where someone was sleeping and then BOOM!
Lazam had been blasted into oblivion.
Chapter 2
The Rope from Perth
The next day was a tiresome one for the Perth police and detectives. The case had been given to Officer Ian Moon who was known as The Rope from Perth as there was not even one case given to Officer Ian which he could not solve and thus the name. He had been awarded medals and badges from all around the world and he was a Christian. He loved to sing and dance and watch movies. All he would do in his spare time was listen to his songs and enjoy if he would even get any because this Ian Moon was busier than the moon in the sky as he would always get a new case as soon as he solved one with his trusty partner Lannan Hump who right now was at vacation but not for long. Ian was a cheerful young lad from Kalgoorlie and he would be the last one who you would think would have a dull life.
On that day, Ian had been planning to celebrate Christmas with his parents but instead, he was in his Ford and was on his way to the small town. When he arrived, he was greeted by Officer Jennifer Brown who was the Sheriff of that area with her hand outstretched.
"Good Morning Officer Ian or I may say Rope from Perth. I have heard about you a lot. Let's see how you perform in this case."
"I would be fine ma'am and please don't worry about the case. The rope as you say will have the culprit in its hold and would be ready to tighten and even kill in just a matter of time." Said Ian shaking hands with her
