It was dark. I couldn't see a thing. I could barely move. My 'siblings' we're all struggling to move and get around but all they were doing was toppling over each other. I had no idea what the heck was going on, and I was pretty much, well, miserable. But you can't blame me. A few seconds ago, I was alone, just minding my own business in a dark, quiet place. Now I wasn't, and I was panicking. I try to get up and move around a bit, but it was no use. "Aww..They're so cute!" Says a voice. Ugh, humans. "I want that one mamma!" Shouts a very squeaky, annoying voice. Soon everyone's making noises with their mouths, and above all the voices, I hear someone say: "In 6 to 10 weeks they will be ready for adoption." Adoption. The word hits me like a slap in the face, and suddenly I shudder. All these, what they call, 'humans' will be taking each of us away. One by one. Either to a safe, cozy, happy home-or to somewhere not so cozy.
