Well, here I am, writing down this last few notes of mine, I don't know if anybody will even be able to read these, since the day the "Phantoms" came, and well, also the day the "Darkness" started. Well, as a last note, I'll tell something about the Phantoms, the so-called hunters in the dark, the most fearsome, uncanny, and most threatening beings that man has met. Basically, as we picked up signals from stars lightyears away from our galaxy, we already expected something like them to come. What we did not expect, is when they will come, where they will come from, and their purpose in our planet too. Afterall, we are to blame for our enthusiasm to meet other lifeforms that are unimaginable.
Have you ever have that dream, when you were just a little kid, maybe, 4 to 6 years of age? Shadow people chasing after you, trying to steal you from your cul de sac, trying to get every bit of sanity that is left from you? Well, the Phantoms are basically those shadow people you always feared. They suck your life, leaving nothing but your body, turning you into an unidentified lifeform afterwards. Good thing we have the Lights, mankind's last hope.
Where they came from and their origin is yet to be, explored, uncovered, yet to be seen. What we hope to happen now is that, we, the last remaining men as of we know, uncover the truth behind their shadows, the shadows of shadows.
