Stoick x reader

I was riding on my dragon with my mask on when I got captured by dragon hunters.

"A screaming death. Very interesting." The leader said with a hateful tone.

I glared at him. I saw dragon riders. I kept quiet as they took me down into the cells. The dragon riders were watching me so I knew they were going to save me.

A few days later I heard blasts which I'm guessing meant the riders were here to save me. I knew they would they wouldn't let a fellow dragon rider get hurt.

Then I heard someone run down the stairs. I saw a boy with brown hair and one leg run down.

"I'm here to help you" he said to me running to my cage.

"No wait, save my dragon first." I said looking desperate. He nodded and went to my screaming death. He set her free then came to me. While on deck I was about to be killed and my dragon couldn't get to me.

Then a guy with a big ginger beard and a muscular form came. He got the guy off me and threw him overboard. Then he turned to me.

"You Okay love?" He said in a gruff but gentle voice.

"Y-Yeah just shaken up" I said back to him while shaking. He put a hand on my shoulder and smiled.

Stoick's POV:

I saved a women from a dragon hunter. And when I turned around I saw the most beautiful women I have ever seen. Her blond hair fell in front of her face. Her blue eyes filling with pain and fear. I went back to fighting so we could get off this god for shaken ship.

Y/N POV:

When everything was sorted they asked me to go with them and I agreed. As we were in the air I flew ahead and the guy with brown hair flew up beside me.

"I'm hiccup" he said in a soft tone. I looked at him and smiled.

"I'm Y/N" I said still smiling.

He looked at my dragon and I knew what he wanted to know

"Her names Delilah" I said turning back to my dragon while hugging her. She lifted her head as to hug me back.

Once we reached berk they lead me to the training arena as they had more questions.

"So how did you train a screaming death" A girl with blond braided hair asked. I noticed the man looking at me.

"When I was five my parents and village died. Two years after that when I was seven I was wondering the woods. Where I had been living. I got into a fight with some dragon hunters as I stole food from them. Delilah was flying above us and saw an unfair fight. She swooped down and took them out one by one. Saving me in the process. Ever since then she's stuck by me. She has the chance to leave but she chose to stay. Ever since then we have had an unbreakable bond." I said. Hiccup looked shocked and the guy that saved me had a smile plastered on his face.

" I like bravery in a girl, I'm snotlout." A guy said trying to flirt with me.

"Oh please,I'm old enough to be your mother." I said smirking. Then I looked at the guy who saved me.

"What's your name?" I said not breaking eye contact.

"Stoick. Stoick the vast. Chief of the hooligan tribe". He said back smiling.

I went back to my dragon and got on her.

"Common Delilah, let's head off." I said stroking her head.

"Wait!" Stoick said before I took off. Sounding a little sad.

"Stay. Please, you can stay with me and hiccup until you get a house". He added with pleading eyes.

I smiled and nodded

"Yeah,okay" i said with the biggest smile on my face.

Stoick's POV:

Y/N was out flying on Delilah when hiccup came down.

"Where's Y/N?" Hiccup asked.

"Flying on Delilah" I said smiling to myself.

"Hey dad? What do you think of Y/N?" Hiccup asked smirking.

"W-W-What do you mean?" I asked stuttering.

He looked at me with an eyebrow raised.

"Common dad. I know the looks you have been giving her" he said sitting down opposite me.

I sighed and gave in. I looked at him.

" I think im falling in love with her" i said defeated.

"Go for it dad" hiccup said as he went upstairs to check on toothless

I sat there debating if I should tell her or not to tell her.

Y/N POV:

It was very late when I decided to go back. When I walked in Stoick was sat by the fire. I'm guessing he was waiting for me.

"Hey Stoick" I said as I walked in. He looked at me, stood up and hugged me. I was taken back but soon enough hugged back.

A few days later I walked into the house and Stoick was there waiting for me. He opened and shut his mouth like he wanted to say something. He looked at me and came closer to me.

"What's up Stoick?" I said looking concerned.

He looked at me and then looked outside.

"Let's go for a fly." He said in a stern yet shaken voice.

"Sure" I said smiling happy to get some alone time with him.

We were in the air when he turned to me.

"Let's go to your dragons home. We can talk while she plays with her siblings". He said sounding nervous.

"Okay" I said still smiling.

We got to the island and while Delilah went down the tunnels we sat in the edge talking.

"So, Y/N. I have something I need to tell you". He said visibly shaking. I nodded giving him the Okay to carry on.

"I-I-I'm in L-Love with you". He said looking down.

"I'm in love with you too Stoick." I said lifting his head. He leaned in and kissed me passionately.
