The quietest,shortest, yet smartest kid in the school, you wouldn't even acknowledge that he was there because of how quiet he is.He aces every class and all the teachers love him
Currently Kai was in his World History class learning about the Victorian Era
The class phone started ringing and as the teacher went to go get up and answer it, Kai observed her movement
He looked at her surprised yet terrified face after she was 5 secs into the call, he didn't think much of it and went back to reading the textbook
"U-um class stop what your d-doing"The teacher had announced
Everybody were confused as to why the teacher had asked them to stop and why she was stuttering
"W-we have a student who is coming back"She stuttered
After she had said that the classroom door opened, a tall man with tattoos walked in.He had tattoos all the way to his neck and a glare present on his face
All the students except for Kai gasped and cheered, Kai was confused
"C-class please welcome back Jace, Jace you can sit next to kai" she said quickly "Kai please raise your h-hand"
Kai slowly raised his hand
Jace smirked and walked over to his seat, Kai was still confused to why everyone was so happy but he shook it off and continued to do his work.After about fifteen minutes the bell had finally rung and the students all scurried out of the classroom
As Kai was walking to the Cafeteria he felt a hand tap on his shoulder, it was his best friend Vince
"Hey kai!" Vince said
"Hey Vince"kai mumbled
You would be surprised to how these two were friends, They were total opposite.Vince had black hair and more outgoing while Kai had brown hair and was more quiet
But besides the fact that were different, they were closer then ever
"So have you heard about the kids who came back" Vince said as they both stopped infront of the cafeteria , "kids? I thought it was only one"
"Yeah there's 5 of them, 2 of them are in my class"Vince said, then they both heard cheering from the hallways,Vince went to go look what the whole commotion was about but Kai went to straight to the lunch room
Kai made his way to where him and Vince always sit with his own lunch,after 5 minutes Vince also arrived with his cafeteria lunch and pulled out his phone playing Mario Kart
"Kai can you do me a favor?" Vince asked not looking up from his screen, "what is it?"
"Can you throw my lunch out?"
"You haven't even eaten any of it"Kai said
"Just throw it out please"Vince said still not looking up
With a sigh, Kai took the tray and started walking to the garbage bin
But what he didn't notice was the 6'3 figure who was walking in the same direction and the foot that was gonna get Kai tripped.
